Yeah im interested! But you’re right it’s so much money and I’m not sure I’d really enjoy it. I’d prefer to try it out first but I don’t know anyone with them lol
Im $200 into a setup right now. Magicshine 902s with 3000 lumens and Niterider Lumina 1200. Id like a brighter headlight, but it was a great setup at Olallie and Grand Ridge. Id like to replace the Lumina with a brighter light though. But its nice and compact with internal battery. Ive not ridden with full outbound, but i did have the helmet light and didnt like it. Its more of a flood light. I prefer a spot light in my helmet. Edit: I was looking at my purchase history and I'm only $150 into my lights. not bad!
The cheap lights you see online aren’t a terrible option. Especially if you have more than one - in case the other fails. They’re better than not riding at all.
i'd recommend a light. i don't know how dark it is out in the pnw, but from my experience; a light does help in those twilight hours starting around 5:00pm where i live. unfortunately, this is all very subjective. i can get to the trail at 4:00 on weekdays and then i get about 90 minutes of riding, turning the light on sometime during the middle, before i head home
Scoby is so much fun! Just gotta start night riding haha I'll just be hitting flow trails for night riding since tech trails are a little gnarly. Most likely raging river or Port gamble
Outbound lights! Weve got some night ride groups that are local. I really enjoy it, im sure your a strong enough rider it wouldn't be harder but it is different. Ive ridden every local zone we have in the dark. Makes em feel new again.
@MTB_Corbin just rode the area where you can string together a cool - chapo last night. Also just yelled at tag from my buddies truck. I'll say hi to port gamble for yah!
Oh gotcha, I wonder how much you’d really be able to tell the difference between them. I’m always curious to try something like that but can’t justify spending the money to test it
@@MTB_Corbin how’s that D1? I’m only familiar with Fox really. The Diamond is not very good, but I’ve been told the Onyx is supposed to be the best they have.
Outbound lighting brother! Expensive but so worth it

I’d need a few lights if I’m to ride at 6:30pm or 7 here… it is an option though. Living close to a trailhead is also a plus haha
2 videos today?! We eatin good!
Just gotta ditch work early to get those laps in

Scoby is top tier! What are your favorite night riding trails? Little Larch?
Work needs to change!
Night riding season is great too!
That was sick!
Thanks for watching!

If only they weren’t so expensive! What are your favorite night ride trails?

@@aaronblonden6774 haha sweet! Have fun at Port Gamble 👍🏼
I'm no fan of early sunsets, but have you tried night riding? Outbound lights do a pretty good job of creating a second sun...
I haven’t… the lights are just so expensive lol
Bike lights
What fork are you running bro? I’m thinking about upgrading my e-bike to the Onyx SC- E1 from the Diamond E1. I’m not super familiar with DVO.
I got the Onyx SC D1! I’ve never ran any of their other forks… I do love my Zebb for the ebike though
@@MTB_Corbin I think the E1 is the same damper as the D1 just with an etune to it

I’ve been to their Wednesday night ride with the lights, it was a cool experience!
