You can get a disk image from a place like allbootdisks.com. there should be a .exe version of the disk. It is a package that created the disk for you, assuming that the PC you are using had a floppy drive with a disk in it
I own a Compaq Deskpro 2000. Problem is, there is no BIOS installed and I can't get a MS DOS Floppy to boot It always says "Remove disk - Please reboot" and after that it says no system disk like always. I really don't know how to make a bootable MS DOS Floppy, I'm so confused. There are so many download links I tried. In VirtualBox it works fine and boots, but not on the real machine. A CD with MS DOS and Windows 2, 3 and 3.1 on it works, but won't detect my floppy drive, because it confuses the drive letters).
The way MS-DOS treats a bootable CD like that is the "bootable" part exists on drive A: and the rest of the data exists on drive D: (unless a different drive letter has been assigned via the config.sys and autoexec.bat files). This means that if you put a physical disk in the floppy drive DOS will not read from it. The simple solution is to boot from a physical floppy disk. That way when the disk is switched, dos can read the new disk. Let me know if that helps
1. The video abruptly ends. Is that intentional? 2. I don't see download links in the description for the replacement CD-ROM drivers, CuteMouse, or the T editor. 3. I noticed that CuteMouse mentions FreeDOS. Are all of the above replacements fully compatible between MS-DOS 6.22 and FreeDOS? A blurb about that would be great!
cool video, just a bit of an abrupt ending

That ending was jarring and abrupt.
Good stuff, tho. I miss fiddling around with old boot disks sometimes lol
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback.
