Brandon doing a whole lot of placements for somebody that was never a top 5-10 guard in the league, and never averaged at least 20 points. I don’t think he realizes he was just a nick young with more of a green light lol.
Brandon Jennings shot under 40% from the field in 7 of his 9 seasons and accomplished absolutely nothing in his career. Wasn't an all star. Wasn't some elite role player who contributed to winning. Just another salty ex-nba player who had talent that didn't translate in the NBA and is resentful because of it. HE is soft.
Paul Pierce is top 5 in 4 major Celtic categories, and a finals MVP. He is ahead of Bird in franchise stats, even though Bird has more LEAGUE accolades. That's an interesting dynamic...
What's interesting about all these former players is that every one of them had the talent and ability to have better NBA careers then they did. 1) Brandon had injuries and crashed out the league by 28 and seems to have also been disillusioned with being in the league because of family and finances. He had all-star potential because I remember him scoring all those points as a point guard right out of high school in the NBA. He is number 2 behind Lebron James in highest scoring average in rookie seasons for high school players drafted straight to the league. 2) Rashad had a good college career and only played in the NBA four years for reasons other than injuries the more I listen to him. He could have played longer if he was more mature and had more self-confidence. 3) Gilbert Arenas was an nba all star and all NBA player who was on his way to potentially become a great player with a great career but was derailed by injuries and his bad decision making. 4) Nick had all the potential to be an NBA all star but doesn't seem like he took the game seriously enough and enjoyed the women and money a bit too much. That's not including Gil not being the best mentor to him all the time. 5) Kenyon could have made a few all- defensive NBA teams if he was in better control of his temper and major injuries. I get all this from listening to these dudes all the time and remembering their basketball careers.
Don't forget Kenyon's knee injuries derailing his career as well. I believe a torn ACL before his rookie year and then microfracture surgery at some point.
The problem is you have guys on this show who came from "the hood" and made it to the league by "being a dog". Tatum grew up in St.Louis and is chill and made the league. He isnt demonstrative, doesn't bark at other players, and plays the right way. People wanna "hate" that hes a kobe fan, but fail to point out that people like Kyrie and Devin Booker do the SAME DAMN THING, but they have a big fanbase that won't say anything negative about them.

Jennings is washed at 35 and Tatum young and still going and he leads the best team in the league every single year reg season and playoffs every major statistic Tatum leads the Celtics but others are so much better because they don’t get double teamed
Because y'all not counting defense. KG was in the running for DPOY nearly every year with the Celtics, how many times Tatum been in it so far? Tatum's been there longer, doesn't make him better. Of course, the longer you're there, the more records you break.
@@MookieTolliver KG did all three, didn't need to lead the team, he was good in all three. There's a difference between playing D and what KG did, bro. Did you see those Celtics games, KG was the whole key to the defense. Celtics could make the playoffs right now if Tatum sits the rest of the season. Tatum might be the fourth best defender on the team, behind Holiday, White and Horford. Marcus Smart was better too. KG had Ray Allen and Paul Pierce, two weak defenders, they were supposed to lead the team in scoring, lmao!

BJ and Nick are all-time stupid. They don't know it because they were given enough money to last a lifetime at a young age. Can't tell em nothing now.
Don't forget Kenyon's knee injuries derailing his career as well. I believe a torn ACL before his rookie year and then microfracture surgery at some point.
Very interesting take
Kenyon was a dog and had a great career after a career ending injury b4 his 1st season
Injuries are unpredictable and can detail the brightest star. Enter Embiid currently.
Gil is not from "the hood"
I hate a dude that debate with they feelings like a women JT not being top 5 Celtic is crazy

Because y'all not counting defense. KG was in the running for DPOY nearly every year with the Celtics, how many times Tatum been in it so far? Tatum's been there longer, doesn't make him better. Of course, the longer you're there, the more records you break.
