Choreography for Ultraviolet Laser Light on Photosensitive Surface
In BLACKLIGHT the UV part of Laser light paints evolving worlds on a custom-made photosensitive canvas. In contrast with the frenetic but precise laser movements, structures with minute details slowly emerge resembling cities, forests, alien architectures.
BLACKLIGHT is a contemplative live performance in which times is dilated to counterbalance the haste of modern times, having invisible light revealing what is hidden, with phosphor extending its trace, capturing the passage of time.
As in most of my recent work, sound is the signal that moves the laser beam in a synaesthetic and synchronic discourse exposed for the audience senses
