Oh my goodness Marie you were only 15 miles from where I live. I live in Soddy Daisy just north of Chattanooga. That was a beautiful dress you wore at the wedding. Glad you came to Chattanooga. Can't wait for the next video.
The mountains near Chattanooga aren't really part of the Smoky Mountains, though. They're really part of the edge of the Cumberland Plateau next to the Tennessee River Valley.
I'm so glad you have the time to spend time in Tennessee instead of just visiting Nashville for a day or two. I really hope you got the chance to go to Dollywood/Gatlinburg while there. Oh, and I don't know if someone mentioned it in one of your other videos but you keep mentioning it so I figured I'd fill you in. There is a real person who did extraordianry things that was from Tennessee. His legend is almost mythical. His name was Davy Crockett. He fought in some of the indian wars, was a congressman, and fought and died in the Alamo. There is a famous song about him. The first verse is... Born on a mountain top in Tennessee Greenest state in the land of the free Raised in the woods so he knew every tree And killed him a bear when he was only three Davy, Davy Crockett. King of the wild frontier. Fess Parker - The Ballad of Davy Crockett (1955) you can hear it at /watch?v=txcRQedoEyY
Thanks you for showing so much video footage of your USA trip. I can not travel these days due to medical reasons, but I love your video travels videos since it concentrates on what you are seeing, experiencing, and even what you are eating! Its a long way down Monteagle to Nicollet Lake and the Georgia Border , and then the Georgia border again, and then the Georgia Border briefly and finally Chattanooga. So happy you saw a beautiful wedding. The Tenn. Aquar. is neat-been there. Look-out Mtn brings back many memories from differernt eras. This is going to be a big trip for you--I am so excited you get to see the middle stretch of the US. I Can't wait for your other adventures. You will need to be reminescent for a day or two when finished and then do a recap on the whole experience. If you're here for the 4th of July, see a parade, have some watermelon and ice cream, and watch a truly spectacular fireworks display. Have fun!
Marie, you looked very beautiful in that dress. I love seeing our wonderful nation through your eyes, it shows how much we take for granted. Thank you for sharing all of your adventures, great video.
I'm so very happy that you found Tennessee to be as beautiful as I do.. I was born here but I have lived in other states and traveled all over the United States and into Canada and Mexico, I always look so forward to getting back home to the beautiful hills and mountains of Tennessee. So many RUclipsrs just post videos about the west. Yes the West has soaring mountains and Grand canyons and deserts and that's very unique. But they ignore the beauty of the eastern half of the United States especially the Appalachian mountains which the Great Smoky Mountains are a part of. I was born in Nashville and I love the lakes here the hills, and the people. And I know what you mean about the beautiful weddings that we have here. There's so much nature that it's a shame not to use it as the backdrop of your wedding. I'm so glad you enjoyed your trip And thank you for posting videos of your trip to tennessee.
Yay Chattanooga! I moved from there five years ago, and raised my son there. That was the longest I’ve ever lived in one place. The Aquarium is first class, riverboat tours are fun, and you have to go to Ruby Falls, Rock City, and then if the Coker Tire Museum is still there, you might enjoy that, too. Nothing beats the beautiful green ridges all around the city and walking across the bridge downtown.
Bonjour Marie, all is now right with the world brcause we have a Saturday video from our girl Marie, you always look pretty, but you look especially beautiful in your wedding dress. Wow! The aquarium footage was spectacular. 🇺🇲🇨🇵
Très magnifique Marie! Marie was that the 1st time ever in your lifetime you got invited to a wedding in America 🇺🇸? Merci beaucoup Marie for this vlog! P.S. Toujours je parle peu français!
That wedding look so magical with the misty fog gently carpeting the green grass while the fireflies saluted the happy wedding party with what they do best. Thanks for sharing that magical moment.
What surprises me is that a French girl likes a thick and cakey biscuit of sourdough! As opposed to a light and flaky pastry. I prefer a light biscuit with thick gravy. For me, if it is thick and cake like, it should be sweet.
I’m crossing my fingers that you got to make a trip to Huntsville, Alabama, to see the US Space and Rocket Center. You’d love it, and only about a two hour drive from Chattanooga.
I love that in your in my beautiful home state of Tennessee. Those mountains were Smoky but those aren't the Smoky Mountains. That is the Cumberland Plateau where Monteagle is which is part of the Appalachian Plateau. The Smoky Mountains Are in very Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina.
If you ever find yourself in Northeast Ohio, I'd be glad to show you around. There are plenty of unusual, unique, and beautiful sights to see and things to do here. Food, history, architecture, landscape. Keep up the good work. So glad you're enjoying our country.
Chicken n dumplings is my favorite at Cracker Barrell too, and love their cheesy hashbrowns for breakfast, and the cooked apples!!! Love to watch you tell us about the wedding and firefiles--your smile is just so big, and your excitement just emanates from every pore! Hope you get to Great Smoky Mountain National Park--an international Biosphere Reserve! If not now, next time to Tennessee, I'd highly recommend it!
I love that you got to enjoy the Tennessee Aquarium. Been visiting there since grade school and influenced my study of Biology. Glad you got to enjoy my favorite state!
The experiences you are able to blend together on this trip are so varied and exciting. You look so elegant and lovely in your dress! The aquarium, the mountains... everything...beautiful! Wonderful video Marie!
My parents grew up not far from Monteagle. I know that area well. The wedding venue looked great. I'm glad you got to go, and you do look great all dressed up. I am glad you are enjoying Tennessee.
My best friend lives in the Blue Ridge. The fall colors are spectacular! There is the Blue Ridge Highway. It is 469 miles long. It provides wonderful mountain vistas. I could send pretty nice photos…. Something to consider is to go to the “New England” area for the fall colors. The autumnal colors are astonishing.
Something else that's fun to see that's not too far from Nashville is the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama! It was my favorite place to go growing up and even now, though I've moved away. It's the home of Space Camp and has a lot of amazing space artifacts!
Hey Marie! Chattanooga is a nice place to visit. There's also the Civil War battlefield of Chickamauga just across the state line in Georgia or go up on Lookout Mountain where the Confederates had a position looking down on the besieged Union troops in the city after that battle. Also, I recommend Genghis grill downtown (Mongolian Barbecue). Come over to Western North Carolina sometime and see the Biltmore House!
Genghis Grill is gone! A structural crack between the wall separating it from Cheeburger Cheeburger caused the building to have to be demolished! I miss it a lot!
You looked absolutely stunning in that dress! Thanks for the great video, and we (all your fans) are so happy that you were able to experience so much and have such a great time!
I live in Chattanooga, it’s a wonderful place and a lot of amazing things to do and explore. Plus it’s right in the middle of Atlanta, Knoxville, Nashville, and other hotspots.
The aquarium you visited reminds me a lot of the Ripleys Aquarium in Toronto. Which I would highly recommend checking out if you're ever in the area again (if you haven't done so already). Bon weekend! 🌞🍻🤠🇺🇸
Hi Miss Marie !!! It's Great to know you get to keep exploring any American cultures like our weddings 🎉 while taki g in the Amazing scenery 😊 As always the like button 🔳 has been Illuminated 😊
You weren't to far from my neck of the woods when you were in Chattanooga (about 35 minutes away). I've never eat at Burger Republic, looks like I'm gonna have to swing by there and try it out.
You have seen more of America thank I have, and I was born and raised here. I should do more travel in my own country. I've spent decades traveling abroad.
So glad you enjoyed my home state! Noting all the Mustangs is one thing but I’d want to point out the truckload of new Corvettes at 7:10 of this video. 😉
I'm originally from Altamont which is very close to Monteagle. I was way too excited when I saw the drive up the mountain. 😂 I'm so glad you had a good time!
I hope you really enjoyed my home state of Tennessee, you went from fall creek falls from Nashville, you went right by my home town of Murfreesboro Tennessee! Glad you enjoyed our beautiful state! Low bass Kenneth
Yay!! Happy Weekend French Fry 😄 🌄 🇺🇸 The nearby store was old fashionedly quint , so many cool 🍫 snacks , fudge goes way back to Mackinac island where it's still popular today. I've gotta try some of those Dr pepper jellybeans , maybe you heard it's catching up to coke as America's favourite soda. Superb 🎸 on display , the acoustic one was pretty fire , we've got to see you try your hands at smashing those 🥁 someday. A magical setting for a wedding 👰 meticulous , now that's southern hospitality they hardly know you & your not family but welcome you to the party 🍾 anyway. It must have been revealing picking up on any differences compared with back home. I've read that having bride's maids( throwing the bouquet) & a best man isn't that traditional in France but do have temoins that can be any age & wear what they please & the children walk down the aisle throwing petals & the caramel cream filled profiteroles for dessert are still popular. It's always more romantic if you celebrate the happy couple riding away on a white horse & carriage. You were beautifully elegant in that dress. Back on the road , how many Mustangs can you spot. I can't get over how green it is. It's a good idea to have blue stars along the highway as a tribute to the armed forces. It was originally on service flags & by the homes of family's to remember son's & daughters while they were away or sacrificed their lives. It started in new jersey in 44 when 800 dogwood trees were planted as a living memorial along a 5 half mile stretch from mountainside to north plainfield. Chattanooga has some breathtaking views. So glad you went to aquarium , 🦦 are so much fun , the red fish were something else & our favourite clown 🐠 was back again. What a nice feature getting to immersive yourself 360 in there world. The little turtle was cute , what a character , it's great what they're doing trying to save all the various 🐢 that they can. The sooner the world rid of Plastic waste the better , people need to take better care of the beaches. Lucky you getting to pet a baby 🦈 & it was awesome to be so up close to the 🐊 . I wasn't expecting them to show a Tasmanian tiger , the last one photographed was in 1933 , just recently the Tassie wildlife sanctuary made a partnership with a biotech company to bring them back to life in the near future. The salamander camouflage was impressive. I like that there's a another part of the aquarium with a greenhouse , your getting your money's worth , where would the plants & flowers be without pretty 🦋 to thrive. The octopus 🐙 was amazing , there so smart & unlike anything else , definitely one of the best Aquarium you've been too. 🍔 Republic looked delicious 😋 , it's a new one on me , I don't know if it's that well known outside of Tennessee & it hasn't been around that long but it's got a excellent all American track record. That's a mighty burger adding some jack Daniels honey glaze is a tasty twist & you can't go wrong with crispy onions & rotor tots or fries thrown in , they've got quite a menu to want you coming back for more . Looking forward to the second part , for anybody else who's visiting go to Ruby lit up falls , raccoon caverns , the nickajack bat cave by kayak , there's a few ghost tours , the valley railroad museum , whisky distillery ( look like you went there ff? ) the coker classic car museum , the sunday market with live music & the large climbing frame downtown. On a final note I wanted to let you know about Baozi the 🐈 who's in the Guinness book of records for riding a skateboard Real American light beer by Huck Hogan just been launched , give it a try if you like. There's also a new film out called the ' the Relentless Patriot ' about brave Artist Scott Lobaido from NYC who paints American flags & somewhat. & maybe you've been watching Le mans 24 hour Race from onboard Ferrari. Looks like you've been having a wild & productive week , don't stress out at any airports , I send more money as soon as I can , I'm having to pay vet bills,. Have a peaceful Sunday , take care Marie God bless 🤠 🧡✌️ Please Like Share & Subscribe 🇲🇫 ✨
So cool . . . You've been to some places I've been . . . Your videos have such great production value with the camera quality & capture, editing & music !!!
You see the best in everything. Your optimism is so refreshing and uplifting. Congrats to the bride and groom, and you look incredible in that dress. Hope the rest of your videos are as fun to watch.
I recognized that drive up Lookout Mountain. I’ve driven that route countless times. I made that drive just before the Atlanta snowstorm in 2011. Snow started coming down heavy on my climb up Lookout and I nearly got stuck. Spent the night once I got to the top in Monteagle. The next day it took me 8 hours to go the next 80 miles.
Excellent storytelling again! Technically you crossed the Cumberland Mountains, which form the western border of the Tennessee Valley. The Smokies are about 150 km northeast of Chattanooga (near Knoxville), and are part of the Appalachian Mountains, which form the Tennessee Valley's eastern border. Yes, I get no one cares. :)
Marie, it was awesome seeing your reaction to the aquarium! One of these days you'll have to get your Advanced Open Water Scuba certification and go scuba diving out amongst all the fish! It'll change your life. I loved getting to see you all dressed up for the wedding! It's so unusual to see you in a dress. I'm glad you had an awesome time, and even got to see fireflies! At the end of the video, the burger looked incredible, and you even had Tater-Tots. Are you more a French Fry fan, or Tater-Tots? I remember that you weren't too impressed with waffle-cut potatoes. Anyway, it's good to see you out having an awesome time. Take care and keep smiling!
You - HAVE - an AMERICAN - heart❤ 🇺🇸 .. So happy you got to experience all of this. America is everyone finding their way together. Proud to get to watch your adventure.
Hello from Murfreesboro. You drove through on the way to Chattanooga. The historic downtown has a pioneer village...Cannonsburg and our East Main has architectural wonders of homes of the South. Also geographical center of Tennessee is in Murfreesboro. Great to see you enjoying our great state. Blessed Be from Tennessee. )O(
Bonjour Marie! It's great that the weather was good for your visit, and that you had such a good time everywhere. I wish you had shown more of you in the dress, like a fashion model flourish and maybe even a spin, it looked really good on you (and like you said, you don't wear them often.) Thank you for sharing with us! Bonne journee! ~Be Blessed
Cracker Barrell is great. We have them here in orange county California. You were in Nashville!!! That is where my niece is at. She is a country singer. Wish i would have known. At the 7:09 mark. That is unique that truck with all those cars. Not the truck but all those were c8 corvettes with some z06's (i know you probably dont know that just an observation)
You would love the Aquarium of the Americas, Audubon Zoo, and Insecterium here in New Orleans along with everything else my city has to offer; food, music, architecture, history, museums, parks, swamp tours, and of course, the National World War II museum (rated as one of the best museums in the world).
Hi Marie! I had fun watching this one, since I have visited Tennessee several times, though not the places you showed us here 😊. The state has a lot of natural beauty that I enjoy, and I always love the Smoky Mountains!!! Nashville is actually the only city I have looked around in, but it was a joy to watch you show me things I had never seen before (as you, of course, always do 🤗🧡). Thank you so much for your lovely video and work and sharing and smile while you are doing that 🤗😊! Please do continue to take care wherever you may be in the country 🙏😇. You are privy to the goings on with me right now, and I do believe finally I am going to have some key time to go back, enjoy and take notes on all your recent videos, and FINALLY catch up with my comments (that I have so dearly missed getting to compose 😢😢) 🥰🥰.
Hi Marie, miss your The Warning band reactions haha but great to see you looking so healthy and happy! Your dress was lovely, the food looked tasty! Keep living your best life 🙌🐎
If you go back to Chattanooga go to Champee’s best fried chicken and chicken livers and cool vibe. Also have to do Giant City and Ruby Falls. The aquarium is amazing there and for just a little bit extra you can Fido a background tour where they explain how everything works, we got to tour the feed room and see how the water system works. We also got to meet and pet an animal and then got to feed the otters some shrimp icicle pops. Chattanooga has some of the best restaurants and cloudland canyons park is beautiful too.
The Tennessee aquarium is super fun and I think much more educational than the Georgia aquarium. If you ever have the opportunity to go on the behind-the-scenes tour, I highly recommend it.
You came to my neck of the woods! Glad you enjoyed. That aquarium is really good, but IMO the Ripley's Believe it or Not aquarium in Pigeon Forge is even better! The part where the sharks are has a moving floor.
Marie consistently personifies (a very French) elegance (even during informal activities while wearing a baseball cap) and a true sense of wonder during her adventures ( even at highway rest stops.)
I used to love having a bunch of monarch butterflies outside where i live in indiana but everyone decided to kill off all the milkweed. Smoky mountains are awesome though on a more happy note lol
Hope you had an amazing time in my hometown of Nashville..I drive out to the Great Smoky Mountains every chance I get.. it's my absolute favorite place to be.. safe travels young lady.✌🏻
A great video, and a great dress! Still waiting for you to visit Chicago, which has one of the top art museums in the world (the Art Institute), which has a world class collection of French impressionists!
Hi, Marie... I LOVE ALL OF YOUR, ADVENTURES!!!!! It's Manny The Drummer, i've been a drummer since... 1978, and still playing my drums. T hanks for all your adventures!!! LOVE YOU MARIE!!!!!
Y'all drove through where my family was originally from. Most of my family are still in the Monteagle, Tracy City area. As for Rivergate Mall, I use to work very close to it and have been visiting that mall most of my life.
In the South we call fireflies 'lightning bugs'. 😊
It's used interchangeably. I use both and I have no idea how I choose which one to say! Most often though, it is lightning bugs.
That dress was a gorgeous look for you. (Complimenting not creeping) It always warms my heart to see you enjoy your visits to the USA.
Wow! Didn't expect to see Chattanooga featured at all, but it's nice to see the town through someone else's eyes.
I grew up near Chattanooga and it’s one of my favorite cities. I can’t wait to see more of your adventures in my home state!
Oh my goodness Marie you were only 15 miles from where I live. I live in Soddy Daisy just north of Chattanooga. That was a beautiful dress you wore at the wedding. Glad you came to Chattanooga. Can't wait for the next video.
I was born and raised in the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina. I'm glad you visited, and I hope you had fun.
Some day I would like to go see the Smokey hills.

Perfect Dress, beautiful hairstyle, looks like fun, people are not getting married as much as before so it is wonderful to see happy couples.
Again I am impressed that you are choosing to see America as many Europeans just visit NY & LA so they really don't understand us.
Yay Chattanooga! I moved from there five years ago, and raised my son there. That was the longest I’ve ever lived in one place. Marie, you always look pretty, but you look especially beautiful in your wedding dress. Wow!
The aquarium footage was spectacular. 🇺🇲🇨🇵
Dress looked good. That meadow with the hanging lights and what I call 'lightning bugs' too. Definitely looked like a scene from a movie.
Très magnifique Marie!
Marie was that the 1st time ever in your lifetime you got invited to a wedding in America 🇺🇸?
Merci beaucoup Marie for this vlog!
P.S. Toujours je parle peu français!
Ay my hometown Chattanooga
So glad to see you experiencing some of what my home state has to offer. Tennessee is low-key one of the best states in the US.
I think she's enjoyed more of America on this channel than I have in my entire life so far.
Born and raised in N. E. Tenn. Hope you got by our National Park. Love your videos and seeing our country through your eyes.

I can tell she's a Mustang fan, she didn't notice the trailer full of Corvettes at 7:09.
She has good taste doesn't she. Lol

After all these travels and you were finally in my area! So glad you get to experience my places now!
Another amazing content Marie. I have to take a trip to Tennessee one day.
Pretty dress, Marie. Glad you had a good time at the wedding. Hope you danced the night away.
You looked absolutely stunning in that dress! Thanks for the great video, and we (all your fans) are so happy that you were able to experience so much and have such a great time!
I liked the ASMR section at 3:25!
I live in Chattanooga, it’s a wonderful place and a lot of amazing things to do and explore. Plus it’s right in the middle of Atlanta, Knoxville, Nashville, and other hotspots.
I love your enthusiasm for almost everything that you see. It's very sincere. I always look forward to newest travels.
The aquarium you visited reminds me a lot of the Ripleys Aquarium in Toronto. Which I would highly recommend checking out if you're ever in the area again (if you haven't done so already). Bon weekend! 🌞🍻🤠🇺🇸

On a final note I wanted to let you know about Baozi the 🐈 who's in the Guinness book of records for riding a skateboard
Real American light beer by Huck Hogan just been launched , give it a try if you like.
Have a peaceful Sunday , take care Marie God bless 🤠 🧡✌️

So cool . .
The aquarium escalater to heaven is a bit much the firat time you go up it
I recognized that drive up Lookout Mountain.
Nowadays I really enjoy tater tots more!
You - HAVE - an AMERICAN - heart❤ 🇺🇸 .. So happy you got to experience all of this. America is everyone finding their way together. Proud to get to watch your adventure.
Hi Marie. Pretty picture of you in your dress. Hope you enjoyed the wedding. Can't wait for your next adventure.
I'm from Chattanooga. So glad you got to see my beautiful city.
~Be Blessed
Loved to see you in my hometown Chattanooga.
Marie, seeing America through your eyes and in your eyes is awesome!! 🌹
THE TENNESSEE AQUARIUM IS MY FAVORITE PLACE!!!!😍🥰🥰🥰
It's just so cool to see you enjoying my home state! I'm so glad that you're having a good time!
Love your videos, much love from Florida
Loved it and now I am hungry... 😋😋😋🤠
that color looks really good on you. Nice dress.
Aww, been there many times. It's a cool place
A great video, and a great dress! Still waiting for you to visit Chicago, which has one of the top art museums in the world (the Art Institute), which has a world class collection of French impressionists!
Really liked the aquarium. Glad you could get dressed up and go to an American wedding.
Wow Tennessee, I have friends living there. To humid
for me. That was an Amazing setting for a wedding. Keep smiling.
Marie, I wish could be here in autumn when all that green turns in the most beautiful red, orange and yellow.
Delicious looking burger, now I'm hungry.
Welcome to Chattanooga.
