When I was 13 or so, I wanted to run away and find myself, but for some reason, I desperately wanted to see the art of getting by. I recognized the actors and I thought it was a movie about running away from your problems and I was hoping it would give me tips on how to survive. I saw the movie and made me realize I didn't want to run away anymore. At the end of the movie, I didn't know what to think or do or say. I just stayed home. It didn't make me an overachiever that suddenly cared about school or made me into a new person, but made me not want to leave home for now. Every time I felt like I needed to run away I would watch the movie, it gave me comfort. I did move out when I was 18, but at least I didn't runaway. So I really love this movie because who knows where I could have been right now.
Some of the missed ones are who we are now, Little Italy, in a relationship. Enjoy watching her on screen everytime no matter what. Huge fan. Can't believe she's a mother now.
