I don't need expansions... but i always buy things i don't need. 😁
Well, there ya go.
I have a boatload of expansions for WF:Europe, but haven't used a single one...
You have something to look forward to when you get there.
A (probably somewhat silly) question where I don't seem to find the answers for. How do you use expansions?
For example the battle packs, do you add the new cards like new locations and hostiles to your existing collection or do you only use what's in the battlepack or expansion.
I know that you can eventually chose to play the way you want to. But how is it supposed to be done?
Example, enigma machine: do you add the locations and hostiles to the Europe corebox hostiles and locations. Or do you use it without any extra cards?
Thanks in advance for the help.
The expansions are stand-alone. They contain the soldiers, weapons, gear, missions, objectives, and locations (for the most part) along with the hostiles you will face.
What you need from the core game is the tactical board and action cards that match the expansion (i.e. an expansion that is Europe will need the Europe action cards, a Pacific expansion will need Pacific action cards, etc. )
For your example of Enigma Machine, it contains everything you need save again for the tactical board and action cards.
I hope that helps.
That was an excellent question🙂
Looking forward to seeing more of your content. I see great promise here !
Thanks. I hope that I've come closer to that promise four years later.
