    Thank you for all information about this instrument.
    I would like to buy for my pre-K students around 20 of this, is worth it to start with this one?

    Good review, I think Kala is doing good things for the Uke people. If a child or young adult can learn on this and keep the interest going , its worth $50. I believe this is actually Kala's Waterman series. That in itself has a neat story going back to The Maccaferri Ukulele. Its not a Uke for all players. It fills a certain need. I agree that the String tuning is a pain. I know a guy that bought a Waterman and first and only thing he did was restring with a different Mfg.
    He never had any other issues. I know you sure dont want to spend any more money on this Color Cord. I would at the least get new strings, and make sure the knot is tied correctly so there is no slippage at the bridge. Best of Luck

    For a beginner, going out of tune often is a deal breaker. Wanted to give it to a kid for Christmas.

    Hi! Loved your video, it helped me a lot. I was about to buy this ukulele but I don't want to tune it that often, that's a huge deal breaker for me as a former violinist. Now I'm getting offered a Tagima 23K (didn't heard of it before), a fender Venice (have heard that it has a bad sound quality), a Kalani UK-23 and a Greko uk-23. All these ukuleles for about 80 USD, so I would really appreciate a lot if you could give some advice on which ukulele is better, thank in advance for your help.
    I'm already subscribed to your channel and willing to learn more with your videos :)

      andres alfonso of those choices I would say go with Kalani. Fender is great for guitars, but they don’t have the same luck in the ukulele department. Fun colors and shapes, bad sound. As long as you have Aquila strings you will be fine. $80 USD is a good price point, too. Thanks for watching! I hope you get an awesome ukulele that you love to play!

    What are the strings made of!?, and are they steady enough!? 😶

      Sharanya Mukherjee they are Aquila Super Nylagut so the strings are good. I think it just takes a little longer to break them in on this model! I love the look of this instrument as well.

    Strings slipping would be a setup issue most likely.

    What do you think is the best and most affordable ukelele shop?

    • @MusicwithMrsLC
      @MusicwithMrsLC  3 года назад

      If you can order direct from the manufacturer that’s your best bet. Kala is a great company to deal with and have warranties that they will honor if something goes wrong. Most of the time they are the same prices as amazon but easier to deal with issues if you order direct!

      Also... I have had great experiences with Sweetwater but they don’t carry all of the Uke brands, only a few.

    It has nice tuning pegs, Kala doesn't skimp on these. A few moments later... I does not stay in tune.
