- [advertising included] - This mixed stocking reef tank from Serdar has the dimensions 200 x 90 x 65 cm and a huge sump (together 1500 liter / 400 gallon). The setup is done with awesome techique, Grotech Donsing system and ATI Straton LED lightning. The aquascape of the saltwater aquarium is created with 90% living rocks. It is an XXL tank with some amazing animals like a Achilles Tang!

My wish is to see a reef tank that size for example...with a one HP pump pushing water around strongly,back and forth and the tank filled with long tentacled corals,Anemones and a few large stone corals as basic scaffolding. Not a wave tank per se- with the endless air bubble storm...but water that is like an ocean current in the aquarium. Something that changes direction strongly. My dream reef over the "pond" reefs most have.

Beautiful, but should not be the norm. It's an unnecessarily stressful situation to put those animals together. The Achilles and Blue are covered with ick (2:48). So with-out expert, expert care and preparation for separation please don't emulate.

this is really amazing, but i just wonder if that yellow tang has enough space in the frag tank . It looks like a decent size, and it probably just seems smaller because of the massive display tank, but i was just curious.

Bunch of aptasia under the rockscape. Aptasia and Dinos killed all my prized corals so Im starting back at square over at square one after finally getting my passion for the hobby back.
loved it all except for the aiptasia anemone on 5:20

The tank is indeed beautiful, but I generally don't like when the corals are all over the sand with little or not organization at all. I would for sure try to reconsider the coral aquascaping on the sand of this aquarium.
I noticed that most of the LPS corals on the sand bottom are those species with long sweeper tentacles and CANNOT be kept in close proximity to each other, as they would kill/sting each as well as other nearby specimens.
The corals are properly placed , separated so they cant harm one another while still being able to receive proper light and flow.
Knowing your coral species behavior is far more important than aesthetics, this is how successful tanks, like this one, are maintained.
@@graphite2786 please do not missunderstand me, the aquarium is gorgeous, but I prefer a different aquascaping around the sand, with less corals and located more natural. You are totally right, they are placed very well to avoid damage between them. But I like more to have much less corals there, more empty sand space and a more natural distribution. That's my very personal view, of course not necessarily better 😊
