You got a very interesting method. Thank you very much for sharing. I got tow questions: 1. Can I use dark brown sugar made from sugar canes? 2. Will this sugar-rich fertilizer invite ants and bugs? Thank you.
1) What is advantage of this method over dry fish powder over used as a fertlizer as both can go. deep into the soil. 2)Also will this method improve sweetness of fruit as well. Thanks for detail info.🙏
I am using it for years and didn't encountered any ant issues because of using this fertilizer. If you see ants, please check for other insects like aphids, scale etc.
Fish fertilizer is usually added to compost tea to enrich it, if you want to go down that rabbit hole search for Johnson su bioreactor compost tea or extract
It stays good for years until handle with care. Always use dry spoons while taking the fertilizer out. We use to make it in small batches so it last only for that season. Even if you make in bulk, it stay well for years once it get fully fermented as shown in the video. Hope this helps. Thanks
I tried this and it doesn't work, the fish doesn't breakdown the sugar preserves it. The bacteria cannot grow to breakdown the fish as the sugar content is too high. That's not surprising as that is how jam is made. Hugh sugar content preserves the fruit.
Good video ❤
It reminds me some KNF methods (FAA).... Thanks for sharing, nice content
Thank you for this great helpful method fertilizer

White sugar is chemically bleached. Avoid this and use dark brown natural sugar types.
