Ya have to appreciate the Big Swede breaking something now and then - it's a result of the really hard work he is doing! Good Job Erik! Awesome video - thanks Nicole!
Thank you Chet nikki dougo and Eric for a video every day ! It has rained every day this week here in michigan . We got some tillage done but no harvesting which is bad when we still have 3000 of beans to harvest and 2100 acres of corn as well . Those wind systems are really nice . We enjoy ours on both of our heads . Thanks for the videos they are great! Stay safe and farm on my friends !
One of your finest videos so far.I was glued to the screen. The background music was fantastic and fit seamlessly into the action,a tip of the hat to your wife Nicole :).Chet, for a very young farmer, you are indeed very level-headed and aware of your equipment. You are mature and dedicated beyond your years, another tip of the hat to Doug and Amy for a son well raised. Thanks and good luck for the rest of the Harvest.
Wow never seeing a combine in person I got a really good idea just how large a combine is by watching you grease your new combine thanks for all you do !!!!
I love watching you guys with the combines, I'm from the northeast and we picked corn and green beans by hand in the day. A bushel an hour was good for green beans and about 20-30/ hour was good for corn. You guys are way faster! Amazing.
Greetings from (a wet and windy)Edinburgh Scotland, have been following your videos only for a few months. This weekend is a total washout here rain for 24 hrs.so I took the opportunity to look back at your equipment walk-about parts 1 and 2... wow...... fantastic........ so good to get to now the background and start to understand more of your work and family background. I was born and raised on a two thousand acre farm in the flat lands of Cambridgeshire England know as the Fens. My Granddad was Area Manager for the estate and my Farther Foreman oh what a fantastic childhood.... school got in the way weekends around the farm. my biggest life regret was/still is that I decided to go into construction ...... but it turned out good. Now trying to locate your farm on google maps. Thank you showing us the day to day farm life and showing the considerable/massive investment farming today demands from you and your family ... Thank you.
Keep the videos coming. Love watching yours and Nicole’s videos. Nicole, you should do some videos of your daily things you do on the farm during harvest
Grew up in farming community with my father owning a farm but all the land was rented out. Love the harvesting and did considerable corn but no beans. Really love the working of the ground.
We wrapped up beans today just an hour and a half south of you guys south west Minnesota by South Dakota border. We’re moving in to corn Monday! Keep up the awesome content!
Grain cart footage picking up from both combines was sweet. Something about farming videos seems to fulfill some sort of natural desire to plant/harvest 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Chet, I bet you are sure glad that you cleaned your cabin air filter before going out today. With all that mold dust out there you can breath a lot easier.
You will be at 500,000 subs before you know it. I just added 1. I watch a lot of farming channels, especially where young people are involved ( I am FAR from young myself - you guys help me feel younger). Young folks raised on farms are something special. Keep it up. Cole, Larson, NY Farm Girls, Laura Farms, Sandi (and Jessica) Brock Etc, etc. Love you all.
Our combine requires greasing some by 10hours and then the rest 50hours. Sometimes annoyed by all the greasing to be done but it has made it last without any breakdowns for 20 years
Our opener is tomorrow here in Northern Michigan. We never miss our opening day either. However am lucky to be able to hunt the whole season. Great video. Thanks
I agree with you sir, BUT according to some idiots on here the Larsons are eliminating topsoil for their grandchildren,s generation with their oh so sinful tillage practices... don,t you just love armchair experts?
as a car detailier... i suggest u use sum rainx glass cleaner and a dry paper towels... the rainx makes water bead upp and sheet off the glass.. also adds a layer of protection and rejuvenates rubber blade on winshield wipers! best of luck to ya keep the vids commin!!
A tip I saw on the Four Winds Farm channel was attaching a length of chain to a well-earned point on the body then let the other end drag on the ground to discharge the static electricity and keep the windows clear(er). Another good video, here's hoping for a good harvest for you.
Really wish I could sit down with you and your family and have a beer 🍺 and listen to some good stories and conversation about the farm and your community. Be safe! And hello from Kanopolis ks 👌 😊 😀
Great photography and for me, the content was really good as I am not a farmer and have little idea of what you are doing and why. Today I learned a bunch. Thanks.
Them dam booms on them floaters are always breaking and falling off another awesome video guys I am heading to the World Of Outlaws super late model race in Knoxville Tn see my two friends run I will definitely catch up with Sunday stay safe and have fun
you are correct, that duster has oil in it so it probably is making it worse. try an anti-static glass cleaner. might not get dirty so quickly but should come clean much easier.
Used a California car duster for over 20 years. Yes it has oil on it but once you “wear it in” it works wonders. Used the same one for over 20 years. Do it end of every night so dew doesn’t mess it up.
Thanks, Chet, great video, fast-moving but concise and entertaining, that was a lot of dust, holy cow batman... the clean up is going to be a job and a half. but of course, you already know that.
Great video Chet. I think you were write to make those extra wholes in your wind tube what a difference Wow. Top work Chet. Great team work from Larson farms
Good video on getting combines ready and your new air system. Really like the air system you put on. Does a great job. Thanks. Iowa farm boy from years ago.
Good to see you guys keep up with the maintenance on your equipment . As they say Prior Preparation And Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance . Greetings from Sydney Oz boys . And of course Nikki .
Chet’s staying on top of his hair cutting schedule. Could stand to drag a comb or brush through it now and then but a big improvement overall from last spring. Take off a couple of those cross supports, add a board and the grain cart might make a fair swimming pool in the off season.
Chet needs to figure a way to include Toby in the videos. The antics of a dog or two provide comedy relief to the seriousness of the harvest action. Millennial has Anna and Ditch always going at it and Welkers has that crazy rabbit chasing, combine riding whatever breed of canine it is. Sure dedicated to the rabbit chasing mission. Chet, bring on the canines!
Chet. Good job on lubing the combine I like to watch you prep that price of equipment. You folks are a mega farm which takes some mayor management control. Take Care Be Safe Alway's Around all Farm Equipment as it will remove human part very quickly with or any hesitation or remorse.
Chet, when you first get a California duster, your supposed to let it sit on newspaper or brown paper for several days before use to get rid of the excess wax treatment off of the duster.
For what you guys pay to lease/ buy the green and yellow, there should be a automatic greasing system connected to the computer. Great videos, they make my day.... You guys are awesome Thanks
i totally agree with your auto greaser comment- there should also be automatic chain lube fitted- both systems would,nt cost more than a thousand dollars and would pay for themselves many times over
Chet, for what it's worth, that duster is gonna make the windshield worse. There are 2 methods that I recommend. 1) after you wash the windshield, coat it with RainX. 2) an old fashioned way (I'm 60 years old) is that once the windshield is washed with news paper, dry it off with newspaper. Use news paper with mostly black ink (The Wall Street Journal is the best) The glass will shine like hell and the ink will act to keep the dust from adhering to it for quite a while.
What about the air filters ? One buddy of mine said when it starts rolling coal it may be plugged. lol It's good to see you younger guys stepping up to the plate continuing tradition. There wasn't half the technology . Keep the videos coming. I pushed the like button six or eight times.
1 hour of greasing to save hours of down time! Burn up a bearing and it could burn down the whole machine! Let alone the field fire that no one wants to see!
Chet you can always put some yellow tape on that pipe to use as a line up guide to line up hooking the head on, sort of like nascar pitt crews do with their jacks and tires and steering wheels
You got a nice shop, blow the combine off with a leaf blower before you bring them in at night, also oil your chains at night while they're hot it'll work a lot better
Wash the mop head on the duster a couple times before use Chet. It always seamed to me like more of a wax on them. But after a couple washing they work great.
I’m thinking as soon as all that chaf blows into that freshly lubed chain it’s gonna gum up quick. But I’m no expert, another fantastic vid tho you’re killing it with the great content Chet!
In one of your videos you were greasing the combine. You had to crawl down inside to get one of the zerk fittings and complained about the bean dust. Suggestion: can you install a steel or copper line up close to the top so you don’t have to go inside. If there is to much vibration then use a small hydraulic hose. I’ve done this on a lot of equipment that had hard to reach areas.
The duster you used for the windows has paraffin wax in it when you get it. You are supposed to wrap in newspaper to remove excess when you first get it. They are not good for your windows. Love the videos keep up the hard work
your California duster will great on the beautiful green paint but not so much on your glass . suggestion go to amazon and look for 100% cotton PJs with no buttons. works great on my dusty windows
Ya have to appreciate the Big Swede breaking something now and then - it's a result of the really hard work he is doing! Good Job Erik! Awesome video - thanks Nicole!

Wow never seeing a combine in person I got a really good idea just how large a combine is by watching you grease your new combine thanks for all you do !!!!
You really have no idea how big all of these tractors are unless you see one in person!
How's the harvest going , has the weather cooperated for you ?
I love watching you guys with the combines, I'm from the northeast and we picked corn and green beans by hand in the day. A bushel an hour was good for green beans and about 20-30/ hour was good for corn. You guys are way faster! Amazing.

Nice that the companies go the extra mile to keep you going during harvest
I SUBSCRIBE and LIKE because farmers are the backbone of the world.
Me and my son so enjoy watching you here in Derbyshire uk
Keep the videos coming. Love watching yours and Nicole’s videos. Nicole, you should do some videos of your daily things you do on the farm during harvest
You mean like editing and uploading a video every day. Lol.
Yes, I support your channel. and I always let the commercials run so you can get the full benefit.
bing watching all old videos love them all
Great video...really appreciate Nicole too...she does an excellent job! Stay safe you all!!!
AND...I really agree with Ellen Lee below on your family.
Great job on videos
Love supporting your channel. Love your content. Yes that California Duster has some kind of oily on it to trap the dust.
I like the timelapse music!
Good video
I have watched other you tube farms. But you all are the only one's whom maintain your equipment to the supreme condition.
You will be at 500,000 subs before you know it. I just added 1. Another great video Chet!! Thank you Nikki!!
it's so nice to see green and red stuff on the same farm
Our combine requires greasing some by 10hours and then the rest 50hours. Sometimes annoyed by all the greasing to be done but it has made it last without any breakdowns for 20 years
Uvuvwevwevweonyetenyevweugwemubwemossas must not be a deer
I really like the music you use for time lapses!
Thank you! Relaxing and nice background without copyright worries!
Yeap I was going to comment the same thing!
I wish more people who RUclips videos would do that
You can easily tell which RUclipsrs have the better editing skills. Great job Nicole!!
Our opener is tomorrow here in Northern Michigan. We never miss our opening day either. However am lucky to be able to hunt the whole season. Great video. Thanks
Great job on explaining all aspects of fall work. Great editing also!! You do things right
I agree with you sir, BUT according to some idiots on here the Larsons are eliminating topsoil for their grandchildren,s generation with their oh so sinful tillage practices... don,t you just love armchair experts?

New to the channel been watching old video's your dad is funny as hell
Seriously funny!
A tip I saw on the Four Winds Farm channel was attaching a length of chain to a well-earned point on the body then let the other end drag on the ground to discharge the static electricity and keep the windows clear(er). Another good video, here's hoping for a good harvest for you.
Set the California duster in newspaper a few times to soak up the extra oil in it. It helps a ton
Really wish I could sit down with you and your family and have a beer 🍺 and listen to some good stories and conversation about the farm and your community. Be safe! And hello from Kanopolis ks 👌 😊 😀
Good ole Kanopolis
Great photography and for me, the content was really good as I am not a farmer and have little idea of what you are doing and why. Today I learned a bunch. Thanks.

Great video. Thanks for sharing your day with your followers 😎 Greetings from Milbank.
you are correct, that duster has oil in it so it probably is making it worse. try an anti-static glass cleaner. might not get dirty so quickly but should come clean much easier.

Wet news paper to wash. Dry news paper to dry. Spotless every single time!
Duster does have oil/wax in it for shining up show cars, suggest switching to a microfiber wash mop for trucks to wipe windows.
I always enjoy the videos, the great content, and the wicked humor. Thanks so much. - Dean from Edina
Enjoying the show
I live in Ontario Canada and our opener for Ducks is September 1st and the same goes for Canada Geese and runs to December 16th
You guys do a great job with content, editing and music. Best far the first RUclips channel that gets my time every evening.
Keep up the great work. Love this harvest season.
Good video on getting combines ready and your new air system. Really like the air system you put on. Does a great job. Thanks. Iowa farm boy from years ago.

Thanks for sharing all of your hard work, I build houses in the north of Scotland and I think I am lucky. Keep grafting boys :)
Lets get the subs way higher, Larsons are as good as the “ Millennial farmer !!
Chet (Larsonfarm's)are sending it!
Not long they'll be neck n neck!
Better
they are both awesome and entertaining to watch, no need to compare
Better. IMO
Chet.

You folks are a mega farm which takes some mayor management control.
Take Care Be Safe Alway's Around all Farm Equipment as it will remove human part very quickly with or any hesitation or remorse.
i always appreciate how you all do such a great job in maintaining your equipment 👍
Dang nice to have the beast back that cart is massive
Oh yah, damn PROUD of Y'ALL!!!
12:05 etc great tune! Nicole!
Chet, when you first get a California duster, your supposed to let it sit on newspaper or brown paper for several days before use to get rid of the excess wax treatment off of the duster.
Duck opener can't miss that for sure!!!!
That is a brilliant idea keeping that section clean like that kudos to you you could leave it it on in all crops to keep it clean.
For what you guys pay to lease/ buy the green and yellow, there should be a automatic greasing system connected to the computer.
Great videos, they make my day....
You guys are awesome
Thanks
i totally agree with your auto greaser comment- there should also be automatic chain lube fitted- both systems would,nt cost more than a thousand dollars and would pay for themselves many times over
Than JD wouldn’t be able to sell as many parts.
Chet, for what it's worth, that duster is gonna make the windshield worse. Yes those car dusters have oil on them, Newspaper is the best I have used to clean windows.
Great video man truly amazing work you. All do
What about the air filters ? One buddy of mine said when it starts rolling coal it may be plugged. lol It's good to see you younger guys stepping up to the plate continuing tradition. There wasn't half the technology . Keep the videos coming. I pushed the like button six or eight times.
My kind of farm video.👍
It sure seems like the more successful Farms are more diligent about servicing equipment and keeping it nice. I enjoy the service videos too!
1 hour of greasing to save hours of down time! Burn up a bearing and it could burn down the whole machine! Let alone the field fire that no one wants to see!
@@steveb6103 so true. On many channels their equipment looks whipped
28 degrees last night here 47 high today. Fall is here on the northern prairie. Bottineau nd. 2 oct 2020. Looking great Chet.
AWESOME video. Love the fall harvest.
Whats with the dope music in this video? Nikki's smoking something during the edits! Gotta love it lol!
Chet you can always put some yellow tape on that pipe to use as a line up guide to line up hooking the head on, sort of like nascar pitt crews do with their jacks and tires and steering wheels
Man that is a lot of acres in a day and that tube looked like a good idea Chet
Big harvest this year!
I like your edititing,, good camera man , well produced,,
I’m thinking as soon as all that chaf blows into that freshly lubed chain it’s gonna gum up quick. But I’m no expert, another fantastic vid tho you’re killing it with the great content Chet!
Great video love watching them
Love the video's. Great job Nikki
Great job all around. 👌👏👏👏
I am Dougo's age, approximately, but I really like this young guy Chet. I had a grandpa named Chet. LOL
In one of your videos you were greasing the combine. You had to crawl down inside to get one of the zerk fittings and complained about the bean dust.

"High traffic" that was great!
Love u guys keep the hard work up
Good video. Enjoyed. Thanks
You need a RBR floater! We love ours
Love your videos
The duster you used for the windows has paraffin wax in it when you get it. You are supposed to wrap in newspaper to remove excess when you first get it. They are not good for your windows. Love the videos keep up the hard work
your California duster will great on the beautiful green paint but not so much on your glass . suggestion go to amazon and look for 100% cotton PJs with no buttons. works great on my dusty windows

You should also get A Chaf yube for the doorway and steps. That was crazy
Nikki Rocks! She is becoming a Master Editor and producer! Awesome content! @wlbryce
On your pre- flight check list make sure to look for cats in the fan😎 Nick Welker failed to do so and got to pay the $300 fine. Lol.
