We are local passholders and Sapphire is our resort of choice when having a staycation. Can't recommend Strong Water Tavern enough for a great date night! The rum Old Fashined goes down smooth and the pork belly tacos are some of the best tacos I've ever had! The service is phenomenal too.

Okay, one thing, Sapphire Falls is not "KIND OF" a step up from Dockside. I just stayed at Dockside for a whole week, and it doesn't even come close to this place. Stayed here several times. Dockside is a zoo and the food is horrendous along with the staff not knowing what the heck they're doing. Raw pork sausage, raw sweet potato fries, the pillows are the worst I've ever had the unpleasure of sleeping on.
They were like airbags. The mattresses you could feel and hear the springs immediately. The place is massive and it takes SOOO long to get anywhere especially to the car. At Sapphire everything was much more convenient.
Ohh and one more fun thing that happened that week there was that some idiot decided to take a 💩 in the pool! They did get kicked out of pool though, so that was good. I watched y'alls review and a few others of Dockside before I went and was teying to remain optimistic, but you couldnt pay me to stay there again. I won't even get into the mess they made of my reservation and the awful foul odor of the first room they gave us!
