This is the type of stuff I’m thinking about all the time. I’m a BJJ black belt teaching at an MMA gym. The ground game was always my main thing and I didn’t start working standup wrestling seriously until a few years ago at over 30. I’ve pretty much given up on the idea of shooting a double and have built a game around getting to a rear clinch via slide bys, ducks and other clinch moves and then getting them down with a mat return.

This is great and would love some more detail on how to get hip to hip and setups to the back for us less athletic wrestlers with bad knees..

Not that I feel old or something, still I don't start wrestling until my middle twenties and that is exactly like my wrestling always look like. Plus under-hooks and body lock throws.

What would you advise for someone who’s never wrestled and is riddled with injuries from Bjj who wants some easy, safe wrestling trips or throws? Is it possible? Russian, front headlock, drags? I’d love to learn those.

Hey Coach do you think wrestling is good or will come in handy for a police officer

I think all cops should know how to wrestle or do BJJ
