What I love so much about dumhdurum is that it is such a vibe for me. Every time I listen to it I’m immediately transported into a scene in my mind. Picture it, nyc in the 1980s, living your best life in the ballroom scene, serving face, strutting in fabulous garments, vogueing the house down. It just immediately transports me there every time I hear it.

Yes its trueee that black eyed pilseung production in the recent release of Apink were one thing that we should all pointed out. But lil did u know, before they produce a lot of hits for twice TT/cheer up rn, and long before Apink's iconic song Nonono came, both BEP and apink has been collab together too. BEP used to produce hits for cube's groups thats why theyve known e.o and released hush back in 2012. So i mean BEP production with Apink were such a strong solid collab, they've known e.o the longest between recent idol groups and their musicality fits well. Its good they work tgt again rn, isnt it?

I am so sick was from 2018 so 2 years ago! Apink comes back once a year but they are active since 2011! Their comeback last year was titled %%(Eung Eung) it was also a really good Song!!! This year they came back with Dumhdurum and they SLAYED again! They are a very mature group concept with grown women!! And yes Dizz is right, Eunji‘s voice (the girl who sings bye bye bye) is very unique! Apink is a 2nd gen group and they are killing it ever since!

Man, “I’m So Sick” has been a favorite since its release. That main piece of choreo during the chorus is one of my top favorite Kpop ~things. Right up there with the likes of 2pm’s “ADTOY” booty shake. It’s just that perfect mix of music and movement. Pertaining to the comments about their chemistry/presence... I've never watched old school APINK, so I wonder how different they are. It could be a means of finding themselves in this shift K-pop has made.

APink is one of those groups, wait no, the only girl group left from 2nd Gen who was able of re-inventing themselves AMAZINGLY, geniously! honestly I wasn't their fan during those times, my style was more 2NE1, Fx and 4Minute and at some point I actually forgot about them until I'm So Sick happened and OMG those girls haven't stopped dropping bops every year, they amaze me! Now for me they're among the best girl groups out there, and while watching my favorite groups disappear watching them makes feel super proud, and isn't about nostalgia is because the quality of these new APink sound is so high and unique that gives me hope about groups people think or thought have none hope left.
If you guys want to react to 90s kpop (they're all up as performance videos on youtube) I'd recommend Adult Ceremony by Park Ji Yoon (girl solo) and Come Back Home by Seo Taeji and Boys (boy trio). If you want more Invitation by Um Jung Hwa, I'm Your Girl by S.E.S, Candy by H.O.T, and Black Cat Nero by Turbo are also all great. These are all super iconic songs by super iconic groups/artists that really paved the way in the music industry for current kpop groups. These songs are so legendary that in variety shows when someone doesn't know the songs they're accused of being the spy or having a special mission lol.

ngl I'm kinda digging Zak's quarantine facial hair! the quality of everyone's voices wasn't consistent (that's to be expected, given the circumstances, ofc) - dizz and khadija especially were pretty hard to hear, and monroe was also pretty heavy in interference. maybe drop the background music when introducing/talking about the song after it was over, so only the voice is audible? absolutely love apink's recent releases. %% was my song of the year last year, and dumhdurum is probably gonna finish in my top 5 for this year.
The instruments and music used in Dumhdurum song is basically arabic and specifically Egyptian that's why it sounded different than other songs it doesn't have the western music touch that other kpop songs have.

Dumhdurum is a sad song with a happy vibe, quite unique in kpop. It is basically a 80s dance track with some changes. The choreography for this song is really good. And LUV by Apink remains as the song from a girlgroup with the most music show wins (17) after all these years.

Man, “I’m So Sick” has been a favorite since its release. That main piece of choreo during the chorus is one of my top favorite Kpop ~things. Right up there with the likes of 2pm’s “ADTOY” booty shake. It’s just that perfect mix of music and movement.

APink is one of those groups, wait no, the only girl group left from 2nd Gen who was able of re-inventing themselves AMAZINGLY, geniously! honestly I wasn't their fan during those times, my style was more 2NE1, Fx and 4Minute and at some point I actually forgot about them until I'm So Sick happened and OMG those girls haven't stopped dropping bops every year, they amaze me! Now for me they're among the best girl groups out there, and while watching my favorite groups disappear watching them makes feel super proud, and isn't about nostalgia is because the quality of these new APink sound is so high and unique that gives me hope about groups people think or thought have none hope left.

If you guys want to react to 90s kpop (they're all up as performance videos on youtube) I'd recommend Adult Ceremony by Park Ji Yoon (girl solo) and Come Back Home by Seo Taeji and Boys (boy trio). If you want more Invitation by Um Jung Hwa, I'm Your Girl by S.E.S, Candy by H.O.T, and Black Cat Nero by Turbo are also all great. These are all super iconic songs by super iconic groups/artists that really paved the way in the music industry for current kpop groups. These songs are so legendary that in variety shows when someone doesn't know the songs they're accused of being the spy or having a special mission lol.

the quality of everyone's voices wasn't consistent (that's to be expected, given the circumstances, ofc) - dizz and khadija especially were pretty hard to hear, and monroe was also pretty heavy in interference. maybe drop the background music when introducing/talking about the song after it was over, so only the voice is audible?

The instruments and music used in Dumhdurum song is basically arabic and specifically Egyptian that's why it sounded different than other songs it doesn't have the western music touch that other kpop songs have.
