I saw the second preview of this at the 5TH and was so impressed and was horrified at how much they changed when it went to Broadway cause it worked in its original formats. I would have just changed the Dragon from a head with dancers behind it to the cool dragon puppet from the beginning, but other than that it was perfect.
4:00-4:27 that lyrics were never used in the Seattle version or Broadway version of Shrek The Musical. Also the lyrics from 4:27-5:10 clip were changed during the run in Seattle. 3:02-5:10 lyrics were cuted later for the Broadway production of the show.
him meeting Feona as a child was there, and everything they ddi in seattle should have stayed in the show it would have lasted longer, than them redoing for broadway.

The UK cast is alot weaker than the original broadway cast. Due to the fact when the UK first brought the show to the West End, they cast alot of celebrities as the main cast, instead of proper trained West End performers. x

Agreed! I think it adds a bit more to the development of Shrek's character. Makes you feel bad for him early on.
