Hello Kingsley, I recently discovered this channel where they review cars in English, and I can't tell you how excited I was! I’ve been watching the channel almost daily. Currently, I live in Chiang Mai and have been renting a sedan, but after going through the recent floods, I’ve decided I need to switch to a 4WD SUV. There are plenty of SUVs around Chiang Mai, but it seems that the latest models from the U.S. or Japan aren’t available. For instance, you only see older versions of the Kia Sorento or Carnival, and Mazda's CX-50 and CX-60 are nowhere to be found. That’s why I wanted to reach out to you. I’ve also seen your review of the MU-X RS, and there are quite a few interesting SUVs in the 1.7-1.8 million baht range, such as the MU-X RS, Honda CR-V e:HEV, Kia EV5 (top model), and the Ford Everest Titanium. etc. Regardless of all the other factors, how about a comparison review of SUVs available in this price range?
"You have a girl sitting here and air passes thru her skirt. Not so nice." got me rolling. 😂🤣 Beautiful car. Very good review sir. You just earned a sub. ❤
New model looks good. I'm currently driving the Xterrain in Australia. I find The ADAS system is fine keep your distance from the car in front and use your indicators when changing lanes
new subs here from the Phil. I think i will wait for this version to arrive in the Philippines before i buy one. Planning to buy this on September but since i saw your video, i will wait until the release of this version next year.
It's a pretty decent ladder on frame SUV. Big and off road capable. But it's basically a pickup truck with a covered rear, still. Worth mentioning that the 3.0 liter sounds like a tractor. Everything from vibrating gas pedal to the agricultural noises. It's a rather rough diesel engine. Loud. If you ride it long distance, anything past about 3 hours you'll feel quite tired in this. Seats also get pretty hot and sweaty. Cooled seats would be huge. Would be even better than just having a sunroof, which just about ever other SUV in this price class has in Thailand. Weird that it has no sunroof. Also for night time, could use some better interior ambient lighting. It's fairly sad and dark in there at night. Lastly, the parking assist is fairly crap. It starts freaking out beeping while you're still quite far from any objects. And since you have almost no visibility for corners, the thing is quite a task to park in tight spaces.
@@kennethboehnen271 Couldn't say. Depends what you need or like. I liked the CRV, much more civilized to drive, but smaller and not much for towing or off-road. Ended up getting a G400d, my vote if budget is less of an issue. 😇

@@kingsley220 Oh wow, I'll be sure to keep this SUV in mind, then. We were hoping on getting the Nissan Terra due to its famed ride quality, but then this MU-X shows up. Time for a test drive, then. Thank you so much!
@@kingsley220 I see. I guess that makes this one a choice between Nissan Terra and the Isuzu MUX RS. And I am leaning towards the Isuzu after watching this comprehensive review. Thank you!

Why DPF is needed, is it because it goes inside the car? or to be environmentally friendly outside the car? And why they removed the AC power outlet, is it not useful?
DPF is to clean the exhaust further in order to pass Euro 5 standards that came into effect in Thailand this year. Not sure what's the reason about the AC outlet.
Hello. New subscriber here. Is there a way to turn on or off the ambient door lighting manually? Or is there any setting to control it? For context, in case of the 2018 model released in the Philippines, there was no way to control the blue ambient door lighting.
The Terra is Bt100,000 cheaper and comes with rear TV monitor. But the Mu-X comes with better ride comfort. Engines are differet sizes but have exactly the same power and torque outputs.
The only problem is the touchscreen ngl a bit to small for the new gen and no wireless charger i think it has none but i like it excited in phillipines maybe dad will buy it because he has a 2018 isuzu mux and its also so high tech so this gotta be better
Actually its not kick sensor, you have to walk towards the rear in between the sensors/near the plate number then you have to move backwards to open the trunks. Hehe 😅
Perhaps it isn't that complicated; if your hands are full of baggage and you want to load it into the back of the car, normally you need to move near the tailgate, raise one of your legs and swing it, which may cause you to lose your balance, and then step backward when it opens. Isuzu simplified it by taking one step forward, one step back. As long as the remote control is within range, the tailgate will open automatically
It will not open unintentionally; it has a trigger zone and a confirm zone. You must always step back in the same direction you came from. So if you just pass behind the car it will not register your movement. ruclips.net/video/Tci6ZNBoXAo/видео.html
