Test the air flow potentiometer with multimeter for voltage when engine idiling pin 1,2- 0.7V +- 0.1V The problem is that it probably worn the resistive material in the potentiometer and need to replace it because it gives the signal to the computer (ECU) and sends a signal to the stabilizer minimum valve (IACV).

hellow, after buying this old benz did the ower clean the FUEL tank, tank filter , replace FUEL filter and on the FUEL line nipple filter etc on the engine side
Brother: 1 owned W124-260E 1988 since 1993, the car is not on daily uses for the past 5 years. Problem: 1. It is easy to start but engine will knock & stop at the first hard press 2. If the engine continue ok- but after about 30 running idle, the engine stop & can not restart . After about an hour the engine can restart. Please advice
Hey man, i wanna replace the fuel injectors on my 190e and im kinda new to working on my car. How did you remove the air filter housing? I removed the 3 bolts holding it in place. Kinda scared to remove the move the breather tube (most to the left of the 3 removable parts when looking at the air filter housing) should i just pull it out with a lot of force?
TorqREV almost anything changed that I can change on this engine, ovp , plug, electrical distribution( front orange ), washed throttle body, and ivc.... Only things that havent change is fuel distributor... damn that one expensive...

+190mex We have tried the potentiometer test prior to the methods in the video and it showed no deviations from the specifications.

M102 owner here, had same problem, solve it by replacing potentiometer and disconecting ICV, runs on 1000rpm and it didn't stall for like 2 yrs now

It did. There was a vacuum leak. Do a smoke test.

Sounds like you're running rich and having a hot start problem. Check your cold start valve first.
OVP Relay or just the fuse on the OVP relay ?
Usually I would replace the whole relay
I also have problem about the idle my mercedes w124 300e the rpm working too high with stay on 900rpm
Check your OVP relay.

If you cant take of the air filter, I don't hold out much hope of you relacing the injectors.
