- While in Mansfield Missouri, we visited the Laura Ingalls Wilder home, the rock house built by Rose for her mother from a Sears catalog cottage plan, and the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum. We also ran across a new railroad car restaurant under construction with a museum located downtown which at the time we visited is planned to open in July 2024. We enjoyed the entire time we had there and the people were so friendly. There was a lot of rain, seems like this is one of the coolest and wettest fall, winter, and spring I can remember. Hopefully the summer and fall of 2024 will be more pleasant.
She still has her fans!
