you need to activate advanced settings or its basically garageband. also yes you can add notes in the piano roll with a click. you have to change to the pencil tool
@@mrswilbee9543 like really?, would appreciate to know why, as i’m struggling a bit on whether buying a PC or a Mac just for Logic, I have used GarageBand on my phone for 4 months and mastered it quite good, the music I do is pop, hip hop, r&b, alt rock kind of too, I use guitar plenty.

Idk how to compare logic to any other DAW. i've tried them all and they were all difficult to use at first. ive had some experience with garage band from when i made apple loop tracks back in 2011. logics UI was similar, so i favored logic a bit more because of its accessibility and user friendly UI for the most part. Now this DAW is my bitch :)
there got rid of ultrabeat. or atleast they have a new multisampler that is MUCH nicer to use and looks way better. Also added a drum kit designer to drag and drop samples
@@wavenine8391 oh shit really? That’s sick. I think ima download logic purely to make samples and import into FL because the stock instruments are out of this world
the beat str8 heat you should switch LMAOAO the stock plugins in logic are amazinggg in my opinion at least :( ABLETON AND THE OTHERS ARE STILL AMAZING THOUGH.
Logic is just so quick and easy - you can literally just click anywhere and record in or create MIDI. i have just bought a PC and copped FL and i still keep going back to logic for the workflow!
I feel like logic is the best of Ableton and FL. Especially with the beat sequencer logic has the capabilities of fl but you can still just use sounds like in Ableton. Only downside to logic is that there aren't a good stock VST's and that it's only on Mac.

I’m so happy right now
I‘ve been using Logic for almost 20 years, it’s simply the best, especially combined with Native Instruments!
Same. A year ago switched to FL studio, and I'll never go back to Logic now. Workflow is so much easier.
