Hi Dimi, Great fishing - as usual! Quick question if I may . . . I notice that when you fish this mark you prefer a high up vantage point and only go down to the water's edge to land fish. If you were slow shore jigging - or doing something similar - this would make sense. However, for the most part, you appear to be using soft plastics, so I'm not sure why you're needing the additional height advantage? In other words, why not just stay down close to the water's edge?
Daniel C this one was caught with the addition of bait on the jig. later in the year they are not uncommon up here on proper lures.. hope you manage to get one!
Dimitrios Chariskos i have to drive 2 hours and go on a charter boat to catch ling was up the mull of galloway last week nothing bit small pollock and not as many as useual cant get the people to come for a trip up to skye and yea some days i have to spin with sandeel frozen when there not taken jellys

Tim Wilcox always better to be on a good vantage point IMO. Longer casts, easier fighting, more control etc
Now got a 6m net though...
excellent video would love to catch a ling off the rocks on rubber lures

Was that a big Ling you got there Dimi?
Bruce Wallace aye pal. usually get them on the end of the season on lures but this time the dirty bait did the trick...
Wow Dimitrios, you always seem to get so many decent fish, do you ever Blank ?
Cool stuff !
I'd like to do a rockfishing trip this year and I'm gathering some infos. What kind of rod are you using ?
Thanks in advance !
CEDRICNFG at first I'm using an LRF rod 2.3m and up to 8g casting weight. my heavier rod is a Light Shore jigging rod 3m and max 50g lure weight.
Thanks mate, I appreciate !
any sign of the mackerel yet mate?
