Simply amazing. I hope in new titles, as well as in warhammer series, also will be naval battles.
Still waiting...maybe in Warhammer 3 but i doubt it.
Troy had none :( they saw this comment and took it away.
Lol
Getting ready to board and cannons still blasting, savage
This will be a huge BOMB if the game had direct control like Shogun 2 modern ship
Nothing better than sailing a Frigate and fire it at ur own
this game is awesome

Again please :-) :-) :-)
lol faio when the french board the british ship a french guy jumped to the deck and died from the fall xD
+Sagiv Levy erm...what battle were you watching? the other ship was spanish...
eeuh you know that it was britain VS spain right so idk
Bearing in mind this could never have happened, largely due to the British ship not having existed. This looks good fun. However, one problem I saw, was when the Harry crossed the Santissimas stern and put a broadside into her. It apparently had no effect on the ship at all! Historically, that would have been pretty much goodnight Vienna there. Santissima would have received massive damage to her stern, steering gear and possibly even dismasted, most likely candidate for that would be the mizzen. The graphics though are great!
The "Henry Grace Dieu" (aka "Great Harry") was an English 80 gun Carrack in the 16th century, but yeah it was never a 19th century ship of the line, let alone a 120 gun 1st rate ship. It was destroyed by fire in 1553 and no other ship has been Christened with that name since.
What a loser
You are correct, that should have cause so much damage, officers even magazines at least men decisive mistake.
Obviously not very realistic.
I'm gonna reinstall this and darthmod the shit out of it
Such a cool game
I installed the game and, wow, it looks nice!
Its great vid bcz its got no comments
Well, Villeneuve did his best with the ships he had. He knew the french and spanish navies weren't able to deal against the british navy. He studied tactics Nelson used in battles of the Nile and Copenhagen.
Since his ships weren't able to rivalize in maneuver with the british, he couldn't try an innovative tactic to counter Nelson's one. So instead he created a classic battle line, but he managed to protect the weakest ships by the stronger ones. The only thing he could do was prepare the best he could and wait for Nelson to come, and hoping he will fail.
The best strategy may have been to not use the weakest ship at all. The Santissima Trinidad for exemple was a monster but had undersized guns, it was heavy and unable to maneuver properly.
Trafalgar was won well before 1805. For years the Royal Navy kept the French and Spanish ships blockaded in port any that did get out generally didn't fare too well. The British sailors on the other hand, because they were at sea most of the time, were far better at ship handling and gunnery. Nelsons tactics were the icing on the cake. He didn't really create the weapon but by thunder he certainly knew how to use it!
+Kreeper face More than that, the santisima trinidad was heavily undercrewed, with about 300 low quality sailors when it needed a crew of 1000 to fully operate. It didnt have enough cannons operating either
@@kreeperface397 7 years later but well, the crew of the Spanish fleet was poorly trained, full of old people, clumsy people and new recruits since they were recruited in a hurry since most of the crew previously died from illnesses, the Spanish admirals knew it and They notified Villeneuve and even refused to participate, they preferred to stay in a port waiting for the English to have to make a blockade and thus little by little weaken them wearing them down, but the French pressured them until they gave in. So Villenueve did the worst he could with the ships he had, completely his fault.
Yeah, that looks a lot more like Empire: Total War
Fun to watch.
the collection?
Крутое видео 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Great Britain and Spain two eternal rivals
Spain was liberated by the British during the Peninsular war though 🤔
:-)
De que pais eres?
LOL... I'm french so i'm unbiased about that... A pure fiction. The Santisima Trinidad has never moved like that it was a big, slow, a difficult to maneuver ship and its crew was like the other spanish crews at this time... badly trained and outnumbered... On the other side, the Royal navy's commanders, crews and ships were the best at this time... So, unrealistic movie from the start to the end...
It’s a game
2024?
In 2010 graphics was better, you can not argue with me, hah, I suppose that I'm only one girl who plays total war franchise))
Marry me
In real life the Spanish would be rekt by the British
Esto fue hace ocho años
LOL, why are the Spanish Navy uniforms yellow? They were dark blue.
They should add the HMS Duke of Kent, wait no. It would be too overpowered
How do you zoom in like that!!!???
he has mods
nope, no mods. Just the insert key
what is this game's name?
Napoleon Total War
this is historically inaccurate: all the naval battles fought in between the British and the Spanish after the 17th century were all devastating defeats for the Spanish, and a lone military ship in the middle of the ocean without support? By the way if you didn't know the game napoleon total war is situated in the 19th century get your facts straight
Napoleon was born 1769. Shoo shoo, away with you troll.
+North okay, so Napoleon was commanding his army at the age of 1? He rose to power, as emperor in 1804.
" total war is situated in the 19th century get your facts straight" trololololololololololol
19th century means 1800, you know that don't you?
*1800s
The naval battle of this game do NOT have much 'wow' factor as compared to Assassin Creed Blackflag game (developed by UBISOFT), which is more intense.
It's because BF is action-oriented, this is more strategical and tries to be more realistic.
