I found Detectorists during covid. I am now part of the huge group of ppl who have love this show. Magical, a slow birn that builds to joy and deep satisfaction. - olympic peninsula, wa, usa

Hello from Northern California! Thank you for posting this wonderful video which I just found today. I'm one of those people who only recently discovered Detectorists; I've now watched the entire series three times and it is my favorite (or "favourite" as you spell it in the UK ) show of all time. I prospect for gold here in California, which includes sometimes using my Minelab gold detector...which I sometimes also use as a treasure/relic detector, so that's why I can totally relate to Detectorists. And as a nod to your Garrett hat...I use the Garrett Super Sluice gold pan which has helped me recover lots of shiny California gold from our creeks and rivers. My bucket list includes visiting the UK one day to enjoy a detecting adventure! Cheers!

Andy didn't sell his metal detector at the electrical shop in Framlingham. That shop (now ceased trading) was located in Romford, Essex. However, he does buy the Power Rangers metal detector at the electrical shop in Framlingham.
That was a good video. I would pay to go on their tour. If I was in England that is lol. Those two guys are a pair of comedians, I like them. I would love to go in The Two Brewers! Aka. The Crown. 😁 good job guys!
Wanna know where the field/tree is from series 3? And lances work? And the fields they do most of the detecting shots, or where Lance finds his Astel?? I know them all and it’s amazing!!!!

One location in Essex was used in Detectorists: the scenes involving Lance's girlfriend Toni's houseboat, 'Elsie', were filmed at Paper Mill Lock, Little Baddow. Locations were sourced by Creative England.

Amazing coincidence is that I went 3rd Feb and published almost an identical video 5th Feb lol. ruclips.net/video/VBo6RjTCD34/видео.html I went inside the shop and they confirmed it was used for filming inside for 2 days. It was moved around quite a bit. I had a good chat with the lady there (she's not the owner though). I also went into Lemon Tree and had a good chat with the manager there too - they have had a few people visit and make videos/take shots now. If you go to the Castle you will also see where Andy has his job interview as that huge building is in the distance beyond The Mere (a lake) and is Fram College (check Google Maps). Also the Mum's house is nearby (I never found that on the weekend but people in the castle mentioned it), plus the Co-Op (I went into before realising lol) and White Horse PH (being converted to dwellings) are just steps away from the Crystal Enigma/Panorama shop. If you go back check out the food in the Castle Inn - I recommend the burgers and you can sit and see DMDC Headquarters from the window lol. Great fun.

I think Lances work is on Bentwaters business park (old airbase) at Rendlesham, theres some farm processing places on there
