I love my 3M headsets. I also spend a lot of hours splitting between music or podcasts they are great.

Gotta fine something to help the time pass. I wish the machines were quieter, I’d prefer to hear the wood split and the wildlife, but even the electric machines are noisy enough for headphones.

You should have yourself a kinetic splitter for doing that Chris ;)
I was thinking that you were busting a gut a bit lifting the 1st 2 bags and you probably need a better method to load. A trolley to run up the ramp maybe?
What sort of audio books do you listen to? I read extensively but when I'm cutting or splitting I just have headphones or earplugs in most of the time as I can never find my radio headphones.

ha ha, i was too lazy to drag the kinetic splitter from the bottom of slippery hill.
you'll see later that we have started to use the 20KG firewood bags and are selling plenty, but I still have quite a demand for these big bags. Usually I half fill the bag and then load it into the Ute and then finish filling it. Delivery is then from the Ute tray, so not need to pick from the floor. Its ok if 2 of us load the full bags, a full bag is just too much for one person.
Our local council library has an app called Borrow Box, free audio book downloads, I like James Herbert (horror fiction) James Patterson (detective thrillers), also play them on my drive to work or to the land.

I love James Patterson books. I've read many dozens of his books. Not read any James Herbert (yet). I'm currently bingeing on fantasy writer Janny Wurts.

I have started reading her due to the Empire series she co wrote with Raymond E Feist decades ago which I loved and have read many times. Read all of R.E.F.s books (many times) but never hers. Thought it was time to try.
