    All of the environments were way more detailed in Bayonetta 2. But they were so much smaller. Now that Bayonetta 3 has giant open levels, tthey all look like trash.

    The Blur pixelation which you're talking about is a fillter textures which help player see throught object if they come too close to the camera, without it the big enemy and big summon'll block your view alot in combat. So to me it's not really a technical issue it's should be technical solution instead

    • @KumaPlays

      Yeah, I don't know how they solve the issue with the giant enemies. They are a lot of fun, but sometimes it feels like there isn't anything there because the camera can't show them. That's tough.

    Glad that some youtuber like you actually put up time to complete the game before making a properly review. Most of youtube reviewer with "disspoinment" score for this game only spend little time to play the early stage of the game and quit right there to make a bad review for the whole game. They dont even bother obtain new weapon or new move, let alone understand the combat mechanic or new trick.
    They dont even know Bayonetta can fighting separately while her demon doing their attack, and complaint summon is easy, way too long range moves to be consider an action game like Ninja gaiden 2 . Such a stupid statement 🤣

    • @KumaPlays
      @KumaPlays  Год назад

      Great question!
      Not including other playable characters like Balder or Viola, Bayo 3 has more weapons than the previous games. Of those weapons just for Bayonetta herself, the weapons presented in Bayo 3 have greater variety in play style in my opinion. Sure you get the standard gun, slashing, and Rodin based weapons. However, I feel that the addition of the anchor, microphone, yo-yo, train, and shield weapons offer a lot more freedom in how to play.

      Thanks for the comment! Bayonetta 1 is a great game. It definitely had the best story of the three games so far.
      Personally I enjoyed the gameplay in Bayo 3 better. In my opinion it has far more variety, is more forgiving, and is just more fun to play.

    • @ghostwalkergames7707
      @ghostwalkergames7707 Год назад

      @@KumaPlays I found that Bayonetta 3 tries to throw everything at the wall and sees what sticks. Long qte bosses like at the end of the French chapter or the scripted running section at the end of the Japan chapter, demon slave feels pretty slow and sluggish, wicked weaves feel underpowered and underwhelming, they still don’t teach you how to dodge offset which is a core move set of Bayonetta. You have to unlock skills individually now and they changed the inputs of most. The costumes compared to the first are really disappointing, compared to the second they are an absolute joke. There’s about 8 in the base game not counting the original and the Nintendo costumes. With the Nintendo costumes there’s about 16 and they do fun gameplay things as well like give you the master sword and parry for link, use morph ball for samus and collecting coins for the peach and Daisy costumes. Bayonetta 2 has most of the costumes from 1 and even more. Umbra elegances are just absent from the third game completely and the replay value is lacking compared to the first 2. Dying doesn’t punish you and same with using items so it’s less replayable because it’s easier than the first game. Bayonetta 1 allows you to fully get used to Bayonetta through the playthrough while 3 just switches characters so often it’s jarring. Jeanne is just no longer important to the story and everyone just feels like an underpowered mess. Rodin in both the first and second games says he won’t help Bayonetta fight her battles, but if you get his weapons in game you also get him as a demon slave? Which implies that Bayonetta is forcing him to fight for her. I thought Bayonetta was supposed to be a good person not someone who enslaves her friends. Now the story of Bayonetta 1 and 2 aren’t winning any awards, but they acted as a closed time loop. 1 goes into 2 and 2 goes into 1 because Balder who goes back in time and sacrifices himself for his daughter Bayonetta by becoming a villain controlled against his will. Now 3 ruins this by saying that Bayonetta 1 and 2 are in different universes. Like did they even play the past 2 games because idk it looked pretty cut and dry to me… so with all that I just have to ask, how is 3 the best in the series?

    • @KumaPlays
      @KumaPlays  Год назад

      @@ghostwalkergames7707 Sorry to hear you are not a fan of Bayo 3. It had it week points for sure, but I personally found the gameplay more enjoyable than previous titles. I did not say this game has the best story, characters, or graphics in the series. But what I am saying, is that for me, this one has the best gameplay in the series.
      Each of the Bayonetta games has its high and low points.
      Bayo 1 had good gameplay, and the best story of the three games. However, it lacked variety and I couldn’t stand the instant death QTEs. For straight gameplay, I get bored of Bayo 1 the fastest.
      I will agree with you that Bayo 2 had more costumes, but on Switch a number of them were locked behind Amiibo functionality. Also, I am not playing these games for their costumes. Those are nice little bonuses, but are not the main point of the games.
      Bayo 3 has more weapons than either of the first games. This allows for a greater variety of gameplay and allows for much more freedom in how to play. If you don’t like a weapon being overpowered, don’t use it. I beat Rodin without using the kraken or clock tower weapons. This game is what you want it to be.
      Saying that Bayo 3 is “less punishing” is not a positive point in my opinion. Games don’t have to be punishingly difficult to be fun. I’ve played my share of SoulsBorne games and there is definitely a sense of accomplishment to toppling a foe that has bested you numerous times. However, I’m not going to pretend a game is bad just because I can beat it without dying countless times. (Persona 5 is an amazing game that is staggeringly easy on all difficult levels.)
      A lot of people seem to be complaining about the story or the characters in Bayo 3. The story for this game has some serious faults, but story was never Bayonetta’s strongest point. I feel the ambiguity of the last act has left a sour taste in a lot of people’s mouths. I’ve seen numerous conflicting interpretations of the story. Some say they killed off every single Bayo except the one who was dragged to hell. Others say the timeline was restored and all the characters were put back once Singularity was defeated. I call this out in my review as well. There isn’t a huge need to be concerned where they left off with the story in this game. This is a Bayonetta game for crying out loud. They can jump to another timeline or have Bayonetta herself punch her way out of hell if they want.
      As for the characters being different or nerfed, most of them are literally not the same characters from previous games. The third game does not ruin the story from the first two games. Actually, establishing the Bayonettas from the first two games as different people actually fixes a huge plot hole in the series. So we have a multiverse. That means our characters are different. The last time we saw this version of Bayonetta, she was a child. We have never even met this version of Luka or Jeanne before now. Aside from the cameo from the other Bayonettas at the end, Rodin is literally the only main character who is the same across the three games.
      Yes, Bayonetta probably uses demon slave of Rodin. She has always been a tad bit self-centered. But even more so Rodin himself is obviously cool with it. Singularity is not just a threat, but is actively wiping out realities left and right. Rodin knows this at the very start of the game, much more so than Bayonetta at first. Rodin knows this villain has destroyed countless universes and even says the Gates of Hell bar is not safe from the destruction. Singularity is closer to the goal than any villain has been before him.
      You clearly like the first two games more. That’s fine. No one is saying your opinion is wrong. I think the gameplay in Bayonetta 3 is the best of the series. Again, I do not say it is the best game in the series. Bayo 1 will likely always be the best game in the series overall, but for me the gameplay in that first game gets stale faster than the others.
      To me, Bayonetta 3 has great gameplay, is a lot fun to play, and expands on what was put out before it.
