Always love the show, Nick!
Thanks, Dave!
Greetings from the Sunshine State, great show Nick, also wanted to give Devers a shout out for the record of homering in six straight games. Amazing. Keep up the good work my friend, appreciate you.
Best way to start my morning. Great show, as always!
Thanks, Nick.
Great show Nick. I mostly watch on demand and even if I watch live, I do not follow comments. I am confused and disappointed that you have to block folks over divisive comments not relevant to the content. Hang in there. You are doing well. RUclips is a slog.
Thanks. Appreciate it!
Great show!
That pick of Strange was a huge Bill blunder that the team now feels the effect of. Sean McVey..HC Rams is still lol at Bill for the pick.
Wow, I’m glad I’m not Bill. He looked so old at the Roast, doubt he’ll ever get another job.
For how he destroyed Pats offense..he shouldn't get anything but free golf
Wallace said he played LT in high school & had practice reps at LT at Penn State. He just wasn’t going to unseat Fashanu at LT.
One of the guys from the NFL Stock Exchange said Robinson is a dominant run blocker, but needs to improve his pass protection.
By drafting Drake Maye, instead of trading down, the Pats STILL need a left tackle and a #1 receiver. THAT was the trade-off. They were hoping that someone would fall down to them but no one did. A poor offensive line and the lack of a #1 receiver will still limit the offense no matter WHO the QB is. The Pats will have to address these major holes while replenishing the rest of the roster in the years ahead. It won't be easy. So, Maye had better be great because he came at a great cost. A great cost.
Should have taken JPJ at 37
Give Wallace a chance at LT, his tape is pretty good.
Always thought your Strange caveat was possible. Also still think it's possible the new regime isn't enamored with their group of IOL picks from last year either.
I attended the Patriots Draft Party & I noticed Cole Strange had a limp when he got out of his stage & off the stage.
Hopefully Strange can recover and get healthy - he could be a serviceable backup later in the year. The injuries were unfortunate for him but even when he was healthy he wasn't that good
If they’re not going to start Maye & they are working on his fundamentals. I would think he’s probably going to start out at #3 on the QB depth chart.
Sounds good I like how they are going hopefully Strange will get healthy by week five or eight coaching coaching I think the Oline will be fine but draft next year tackles two rest defensively I’m worried but hopefull geez giving this team a chance is stressful
Just need the line to be OK and that should allow some better offense.
Off topic-but I can not understand how/why Tom Brady is not getting a piece of the Pats as an owner vs the Raiders. Wouldn’t that just be a killer add?
Honestly at this point Cole strange should be hopeful he stays on the roster as a backup center. Don’t see him starting at guard for us again.
Nick-nicely done on the Brissett idea. Good minutes. If Haliburton is hobbled Pacers in deep doo doo. Siakam couldn’t miss and they still lost by double digits. At this point-if they win Game 3-do they wait to bring back Porzingis and give him more rest?
I think the C's are just fine letting Siakam score 30, if they limit Haliburton and Turner. As far as Hali's status, yeah, that's certainly something to keep an eye on.
Nick should battle Tom Curran for common sense. Nick for the win😂
Thanks, Jason. 😂
If we can get a second round pick trade Judon, but I love him or give him 10 Mil
I hate to say this but this rebuild is going to take another season or two, we do not have enough talent - if we end up with the top pick in next years draft and trade it for multiple picks we could get back to being a strong contender a lot sooner - I've been following this team closely for 50 years-one more bad season is not the end of the world
Should have taken JPJ at 37
It’s time to cut bait
Strange has been decent (and thats being generous) even when on the field. I wouldnt say hes one of the top guards in league by no stretch. Top it off, hes always hurt which is now starting to trend into total bust category. Id even go as far to say hes NKeal harry territory. Yeah, its getting that bad with this guy.
And if throton doesnt show up this training camp, him and harry are battling it out as worst WR draft bust in pats history withing a 5 year span. That bad.
Judon, let his ass walk to. Trade him. Guys been good. Is he top edge in the league? No. Maybe cracks top 10...maybe? Is he worth more money against the camp that pats can utilize for next year, no. Hes another one thats been hurt a lot as of late. Hes old too. Id trade him now to at least get something for him.
I really hope Wallace pans out at LT. Then the Pats won’t need to draft a LT in round 1 of next year’s draft.
Why the hell did they give Andrew’s money and not him Judah deserves it give me a break what the hell are they waiting for? Just give them a bump this year give them 10 million.
