Thanks for sharing your adventures. The Dolomites has firmly gone on the bucket list! Just back from our trip to the Outer Hebrides and it was a beautiful as your video suggested. Hope the van is all sorted. Safe Journeys.
Awesome! Thanks for watching, The Dolomites were incredible (despite the slight van hiccup!) Glad you enjoyed the Outer Hebs too, that too is stuuupidly beautiful!
Hi guys, great video amazing adventure. We’re planning a similar trip for next summer, but it’s our first trip in a camper van. We have a question where do you take your shower? Are there facilities around at a decent price?
Thanks for watching! The Dolomites were proper epic. We have a shower in our van, so we could be a bit flexible and stay in cheap/free places like ski lift car parks. But I think there are also a number of campsites available, we used the app Park4night and Searchforsites to find these places
Great video guys❤❤I'm interested in a similar trip. Did most of the places you hiked allow dogs to not be in leash please? And could dogs swim in most lakes you saw? Thanks
Thanks! Italy is superrrrr dog friendly, they absolutely love them! They do have some rules on leashing dogs in busy places, and muzzles on public transport (but not on gondolas). But like in most places, these rules aren’t enforced as long as your dog is well behaved 👍. So we had Frank off lead on hikes where possible, but he’s also too hyped and wants to say hello/play with everyone we pass, hence why on the busy hikes in the video you’ll see him with a lead on 😂😂 I can’t speak to swimming as Frank hates the water, but we didn’t see any signs about no swimming for people or their pets! Hope that helps!
Hey! Camping in a campervan? Majority of the spots we stayed in here were free, or cheap! We used the Park4night app to find our spots for the night, if you search for each location you should find the spots we parked up at.
No worries! It was a year and a bit ago, so I can't remember the specific spots without rewatching, but I do remember that the cable car/gondola parks were always a good find, as they're huge, in the middle of nowhere and it was fine to camp for free 👌 and the Tre Cime spot was super expensive, but worth it!
Hey! We went at the beginning of September for a week and a bit. October should be a good time, less crowds and the weather should still hopefully be nice and clear (but maybe a little colder!)
Hey! You will probably be OK - we *just* fitted when being towed down the mountain. I think it's called Passo Falzarego, which leads to Arabba from near to the Cinque Torri car park. There is a less direct and less winding way via main roads I think (which in hindsight we should have taken! 😂)
Yes! Drone shots of the Dolomites were insane. Tre cime di lavaredo hike added to our list of must do's ✌Beautifully captured as always
Thank you friends! Hope you enjoyed your three cups of tea while watching the bumper episode! 😜
Such a beautiful cinematic video !
Thank you! 👌

Hello mate, very beautiful video!
Is it free to go camping over there? Could you please suggest some places to go camping in Dolomites!

Hi there, where was the location on the Gardena pass where you stopped for a brew but were able to stay at? it was 6:21 mins into the video.
Hey! Do you use Park4Night? This is the spot on there: park4night.com/en/lieu/464546/open/ as you drive round the road, it'll be on your right!
@@TheseWildJourneys great thank you!
Hi great video. We are going in the first week of October. What time of the year did you go ?
Love your pup. Cool dude.

@@TheseWildJourneys thanks so much.
Can u tell the point where u parket and went up to cinque terre please?
Hi Saba! Apologies for the delayed response, we for Cinque Torri we went up from here: maps.app.goo.gl/WQBqkuBSfKWwz8j28 and took the cable car up.
@TheseWildJourneys thank you so much guys for sharing this.
Hi which road did you breakdown on? Our van is 3m high and want to avoid this tunnel at all costs. Thanks videos are great 😊

(We're 3.3metres)
Think I’ll do the safer routes.cheers
Hi, love your videos! What drone did you use to capture the amazing videos?
Thanks! I'm currently using a DJI mini 3 pro. Super small, but really great quality!
Can you park your camper van and sleep anywhere in the dolomites area? do you need to pay or is it free?
Bit of a mixture! Download Park4Night app and you'll find a few spots. Quite alot of ski-centre car parks stay open and let you stay the night.
Thank you 👍

Which month of the year was this? Cheers
Hey! Sorry for the delay - we visited at the beginning of September. Good time to go!
not bird but marmot
It was indeed! We turned the corner and quickly realised! Really cool!
