That's awesome! Love your videos! I had been selling on bricklink for a few months and never intended on buying used and dealing with the cleaning and sorting. So, I saw an ad on Facebook marketplace that had the ucs y-wing sitting on top of a pile of legos. I thought I would try out the used lego selling. Crazy thing was the ad said free, until he messaged me back and said $400 for the two big bins of lego. I said I'll give you $250. When I got there the y-wing wasn't in the bins because he didn't want to sell. So, I saw small bin full of star wars figs. When I got home I started digging through that minifigure bin and saw a green helmet that looked old. At the time I had no idea what it was. I thought it kinda looks like some sort of Boba fett helmet. Then I remembered hearing about some Boba fett being worth big money. I had to dig for all the peices but didn't find one of the arms. Listed it on my bricklink store for $250 I think. Found most of the pieces in there to complete all cloud city figs. Not bad for first used lot purchase. When I found Boba's legs I almost had a heart attack lol. Keep up the great content!

I just got one in a small lot of 30 figures. The listing had really blurry photos with no close-ups. But I had a feeling, going by the colors. Nice going. Oh, and you are an addict, brother. Haha.

It was on display in my local museum and belonged to a staff member. The exhibition was about collecting.
I asked if he wanted to sell it and he said yes and didn’t know the relevance.
In closer inspection he turned out to be fake.

I've owned 10 of these Boba Fett's, three in new condition. I would regularly flip them - buying them for less than $200 and selling them for $275 - $350. Sold my last one for $800. Soooo, wish I would have just kept them all.
Yep, sold a full cloud city with mint figs for $600 few years back, thought I made out like a bandit haha

1. It was an expensive set for the time, and available for a very limited time, so few sets were bought.
2. It’s old, meaning many sets have been thrown away or the Boba Fett has deteriorated just through age or by kids playing with it.
3. It is unique. Newer Boba Fett mini figures have had the same printing, but it is the only one to have the printing on the arms and legs AND the old Boba Fett style, with the helmet and printing and what-not.
4. The demand. All of this makes it sought after already, but it’s Boba Fett man!! He’s awesome!

I would try to replace the torso, since the arms are very unlikely to crack while taking them out, especially the older ones.

That was an amazing find. My best one was a Lego Stig Keychain that was a BBC exclusive. Had a friend in England send me a bunch of them.

I have a cloud city 10123 set that I cherished as a child. I recently visited my parents and we tried to find the all pieces (for fun) I must have googled the set and seen the price. Can someone explain why it's so expensive now? I definitely have Boba Fett in perfect condition but Lando lost his cape (I probably thought it looked better on someone else). It shocks me how one of my Lego sets or even mini figures can be so valuable now..

The torso was not unique, to some degree I suppose so, but I guess original vs correct is something to consider, being the same exact piece is kind of a gray area I suppose lol

I took the arms off a commander fox and they broke. Given dark red Lego is brittle, it still is risky to take the arms off older figs. Good thing his arm covers the crack

To add to it. I also found a light up Saber anakin I have no idea what to do with. It has what I am to believe a misprint on the torso. Silver line that goes straight across torso. Doesn't look like sharpie. But the cape is ripped off....which sucks.

never understood how torsos crack I've just left figures in a box and they havent been touched for years yet they crack
It is a mystery for sure!
the legs fit tightly to the torso and in some cases the pressure over time cracks them. I bet if you had a torso with no legs on it it would never crack unless it had previous leg cracking pressure on it.
