people loved to slate him for his start but given his height and the way he was able to stick with world class starters for the first 30m seems like very harsh criticism. That WR 100m he had everything.
To be fair to him I reckon he probably had a sub 6.50 in him this indoor season but he chose not to compete too often indoors. I think we will probably see a sub 9.9 from him this year fitness/weather permitting.

Great suggestion, There will definitely be a place for him in part 2. I took a bit of creative liberty with the races I chose instead of going for the ones we all know are the fastest I went for the races where they are chasing someone down, I will definitely mix it up next time though.
When he beat Norman last year after being behind coming off the curve I was seriously impressed. Not just anybody can run down one of the best 400m runners that has ever lived especially when he is a 100/200 guy.

Après leur départ, ils atteignent normalement leur pointe de vitesse dans les 40-60 premiers mètres ayant un meilleur relâchement musculaire et la conservent jusqu'à la fin. Sinon il y a les sprinteurs de 200m et 400m qui font une première partie de course plus prudente, qui gèrent la gestion de leurs efforts et attendent plus la dernière ligne droite pour lâcher les cheveux et faire la différence. Mais on peut évoquer d'autres cas, comme le record du monde d'Usain Bolt sur 100m. Pourtant mauvais au départ, il parvient à en faire un très bon, il est au contact de Powell et Gay, puis en deuxième partie de course, il maîtrise son point fort c'est à atteindre sa pointe de vitesse maximale dans les 40 dernières mètres avec beaucoup de relâchement au niveau de sa posture. Il relègue Gay et Powell à une bonne distance, même si les trois coureurs ont couru sous les 9.85. Cette fois pour le record du monde du 200m, qui est sa discipline de prédilection depuis les années juniors, il fait un énorme virage et bascule dans la dernière ligne droite avec 2-3 mètres d'avance avant d'en remettre une couche et finir avec 0.6 d'avance sur Edward. Mais je pense que le speed endurance est plus une question de gabarit plus que de fréquence cardiaque , Bolt faisait moins de pas que les autres vu son énorme gabarit (1,95m), il produit des foulées de 2,70m, je pense qu'il a la meilleure speed endurance, sur 200m il parvient à prendre un gros départ et faire un énorme virage puis il produit son effort du 100m jusqu'à la fin. Il était capable de gérer sa course en deux temps. Mais Blake était capable de produire de bon et réaliser de grandes fin de course sur 100m et malgré son gabarit (1.79m) il avait des capacités hors norme. Je suis peut-être perdu en écrivant ce message, j'espère que tu m'as quand même compris. Sinon tu es spécialisé sur quelles distances ?

Wayde Van Niekerk is the only person to go under 10 for the 100 m, under 20 for the 200 , under 31 for the 300 m and under 44 for the 400 m. And the only female athletes to consider for comparison is either Marita Koch or Gwen Torrence. Koch although drugged has a miraculous 10.83 100 m, 21.71 for the 200 m and a 47.60 for the 400 m that no body has come even half a second within until Naser in the WC.
