The new finish on the knife is a glass blasted finish rather than a sandblast. And the hardware they’re making it better where the hardware won’t strip as easily as it used to.
@@these7seas absolutely. People are around me that are not nice. People ask me why carry such an expensive knife. My responses you won’t know until you carry one. I personally like the Inkosi a little bit better than the Sebenza but that’s just my opinion
@@these7seas ikr! sometimes i just don't wanna use my double or triple priced knives on something, but want a all in one knife to lesson the overthinking of which knife to pocket.. as a knife person, i guess we will always be having a few or more in our rotation. lol. keep up the great content!
I love the Knifeart ones. I have an Inkosi in carbon fiber and magnacut, it's definitely my number one. Did you send it to get it glass blasted and double lugs or buy it off someone who did that? Cause the knifeart configs are sand blasted by default. Speaking of steel, S45VN actually has higher edge retention than Magnacut by Larrin Thomas' own tests, but Magnacut is much more corrosion resistant and slightly tougher, but like you said, it's not like 99% of people will be able to tell any difference.
Yep, the original owner sent it to CRK to get them done but I definitely like the pop of the blue thumb stud that these originally come with. Appreciate your thoughts on the steel and great to know! Yeah I think the knife nerd in me wants the latest and greatest but at the end of the day I just can’t really tell a discernible difference between all the solid steels out there esp if the heat treat is done right.
You’re killing me Daniel-still haven’t recovered from the Mick Strider SnG / SMF review.
This hobby isn’t easy on the wallet so tread with financial discipline 🙏🏻

That’s great to know! I appreciate how CRK doesn’t rest on their own laurels but continues to make these incremental improvements.

Yeah I feel like we were all there when we started in this hobby. I never imagined dropping over $100 on a knife. Now I don’t give a second thought.
Tim Reeve said Every Sebenza has a tiny bit of lock rock, even if you think yours doesn't... it does. Push down on the spine.
Mine is as locked down as a dwarf’s mineshaft.
@@these7seas open in, stand it up blade down on a table, and push down on the spine.
Nada. It’s as solid as an iceberg
I enjoy my cr sebenza.. lately my go to has been trm. i've also been enjoying budget knives like the knafs lander.
Funny you say that…I’m in the same place. Been going back to Spydercos lately.
