What does this thing do if you use an external BFO near it with out using the one it comes with? Does that work with these digital radios? I have a Tecsun 9012 analog radio that I listen to. It was trash until I just found out where exactly my bfo is putting out the 455 khz using a spectrum analyzer. I believed before that it was putting out harmonics and had to be adjusted for each station.
i have an old as sin Toshiba rp-2000f, the BFO is just an on and off switch that makes oscilatting beep-bops, is it the same BFO technology or no matter how set i get on the right freq i'll never be able to hear human-sounding voices?
D-808 has SSB, so you tune with fine tuning when listening to utility or amateur operators , it is like a BFO, but its called another name, fine tuning, ALL SSB receivers have a BFO

it's not a clone .. they are the same exact radio, just different brand name on it
