I am really new to happy planner and so sad I'm just discovering it. I've always used horizontal layout but, this time Im trying classic. I got both kids so I can always switch if I hate it. I have two kids that do lots of activities so I'm hoping I can divide the boxes by kid.
Yes! for sure give it a try and see if it works for you. Thankfully the Happy Planner is pretty affordable and has extension packs for each of the layouts that you are able to use and try and to see if you like them. But dividing the areas for your kids would be a great idea!
I will need a new planner after December. I picked my planner last year based on the cover design. But I don’t like the layout of the weekly spreadsheets in my planner so I don’t use them. I use only the monthly spreadsheets. I want to stick with Happy Planner but I’m not sure what kind of planner to get for next year. I bought my planner 20% off the day after Christmas last year. I use my planner to write down when bills are due, work schedule, appointments, events, movies/video game release dates, trips, birthdays, holidays and etc. I bought a Happy Planner fitness planner and I stopped using it after two months. I found out through trial and error that I like everything to be in one place.
I have the skinny classic planner because I bought it in a rush since the year was starting soon. I dont have planner peace yet but since you showed the mini size happy planner, I kinda liked it. Especially since you mentioned they do alot of accessories for it. And I liked the cover you have for it.

I know! it is a lot. They for sure are trying to make sure everyone is covered in their planner needs which i really appreciate. But it doesn't mean you have to use them all...start off with one that fits your needs!
Our Michael's is majorly lacking in planners. Not sold out just never get them in stock. I went to the Gettysburg PA Michael's and was in planner heaven!!!!! They had everything!!!
True! But I also consider myself a functional planner even though I add tons of stickers 😂. I’ve just heard some people complain that they don’t like neutral planners because they don’t have time or want to decorate their planners.

I complained about not having enough room in my dailys in my classic dashboard lol. It only goes until July so if I dont like it, I'll just revert to my diy idea Thank you!
I think you would like some of brazilians planners brands because they don't have much decoration inside. I prefer neutral, minimalists planners too! That's why i might start recording videos using The Happy Planner stickers in one of 3 different brazilian paper brands called Tilibra, Cícero and Foroni next year. The only problem of them, compared to the planners of THP, is they use "spirals" like in notebooks, not the discs as THP, which i think is an advantage so you can take out the page to decorate. But let's see how It goes haha
Because they are amazing! I love that you can take things out of the planner and it is totally customizable. And with coupons at Joann and Hobby Lobby and sales at Michaels they are actually very affordable!
Is there going to be another release soon? I haven’t found any of the new planners that I really really like. (The first one you showed is the only one really) For now I will use a dashboard extension
There won’t be another release until the 18 month planners and those are usually around spring. I was able to still find lots of planners at Michaels which is were I got that planner.

I actually work full time in an office for an office and laboratory furniture manufacturer during the week (I use a planner here too that I didn’t even mention In this video lol) and youtube has become a second full time job. I don’t have any kids but with two full time jobs I have a lot to keep track of. My catchall is for my daily to dos(bills, chores, anything home related and special dates) My mini is for on the go (My job is considered essential so I don’t work from home and have tasks I need to take care of out of the home), I have a separate planner for social media because there’s just a lot for me to keep track of with Instagram, youtube, filming and also the happy planner squad. I have a journaling planner which I just started this year, it’s been nice writing things down during these crazy times. And I have a big planner that I use for memory keeping my social media memories, this I try to do when I have time, but it’s fun for me to decorate and look back at. Also have a budget planner because budgeting is very important for me to be on top of. I have a lot but they all serve a purpose and on top of all of the practical and functional reasons for having them, they are so much fun and honestly a stress reliever that I really enjoy having in my life. So for me the more the merrier! Lol🤗💗
