A.R.S is a stage, television and film actor with a career spanning over 50 years. He is a recipient of Kalaimamani and Central Sangeet Natak Academy Puraskar awards.
Srinivasan is a lawyer and was also a good cricketer and played club cricket. Srinivasan joined and worked with UAA (United Amateur Artists) for over five decades. When Doordarshan began broadcasting in Tamil, Srinivasan played prominent roles in television operas and presented documentaries. ARS is still active on television playing supporting roles in two television soaps - Aval, broadcast on Vijay TV and Suryaputri on Kalaignar TV.

I usually or easily don't leave comments on videos, but this exceptionally handsome gentlemen and his personality made me to leave my opinion about him. Money and Wealth can give you comfort, but good character, discipline and attitude help you to build a good personality, but this man goes beyond the normal people and stands very unique. I just love this gentlemen. Very well self preserved man. Would like to see in today's movies. High Respect to you Sir.

An excellaant observing thought provoking Interview, Some information ,msg about Sivaji, MGR are very interesting, Bosky is very good in making interviews successful because of the words said by ARS, who is also very good artist himself , I feel guilty for delayed in viewing this prog, I am at present at Hull, East Yorkshire at my daughters place, after my wife passing, never this much happy mood until today after seein njoing this interview , forgetting my sorrows for few mnts in my present life, I purposely view a Sivaji old movies to enable me to forget my worries ,but this prog compensated for that, Very Glad ,Thanks ARS sir, Bosky sir, AMS, from Hull, East York,shire, U.K.

we know ARS as Dr Paul . yes In 1982 in doordarshan the drama played during deepavali, in which ARS played a doctor role, as Dr Paul. In our family, we still call him as Dr Paul. We love him so much !

A R Srinivasan is a fantastic artiste, and always came across as authentic in every role he essayed. Now we know why. He is naturally down-to-earth, crystal clear, and perceptive. Not surprisingly, he comes across as genuine in the character he portrays. I liked this interview, overall, but I do have a few thoughts about Bosskey's interviewing style.
I wish Bosskey would probe some of the angles a little bit more rather than switching back to his script. For instance, when ARS was talking about both Rajni and MGR as actors, it is an unusual insight, coming from a veteran like him. So, Bosskey should have explored that a bit more. Also, it is rare to get an articulate interviewee like ARS, and perhaps, Bosskey should bring a slightly different sensibility - almost like the "Inside the Actor's Studio" feel in which the interviewer recedes to the background and the interviewee takes the stage. I feel that Bosskey tries to don a role of a comedic interviewer, and I am not sure if it works well always. Still, this does not mean that this interview was bad, or that he is not upto par. Quite the contrary. I feel that he does a capable job, but he could be doing a spectacular job if he fine tuned a bit.
