1000% agreed that hard linking a soul of rage and popping it with shyama during your turn, also resolving yama during that turn to bring soul of rage back and your sharvara. I love it
My one issue with the Gryphon board, is that as more and more people hold imperm against this deck, it doesn't play around it necessarily, but having battle protection for the Gryphon is really nice, and better play into Tactics, cool combo!
you'll still have both traps in the bin + Yama and worst case you can always pop your Gryphon with Escape and summon it back with Yama :) Keep up the great videos!
@@JojosASMR Thanks Jojo, making comp Yugioh content may have not been the best decision I've ever made. Wish I could have went to Vancouver, but you'll see a spicy build on my Channel after the Vegas Regional 👀
@@JojosASMRany insight on the branded matchup? My locals is rife with it at top tables, and was wondering of there was more to do going second than "just draw ash 5head"
I have to try this, I already have gryphon in my extra but I rarely make it. I think I'll miss the extra activation of the red dog during the opponent's turn though, that's honestly my favourite part of making caesar
You still get the extra activation of red dog on your opponents turn because you pop your rage, Yama 1 rage 2 add back red dog, quick link into unicorn, discard red dog, float red dog
The gryphon line is good but it’s situational u blow ur whole hand for it it’s a good combo but rage Caesar traps is btr blind but for example into branded gryphon is how u actually win
It's not a bad endboard, but while everybody is going for those 1-2 card combos, with 3-4 extra cards in hand to play over those surely coming hts, you'll need 2 discards on top, to realize the board. I personally think, that at the end of the day, you'll still end on the usual endboard, or reduce your handcount to 0, while trying to finish on this :/
You discard 1 and draw 1. Gryphon sets back another trap which makes up for mucracker discarding. You’re not “losing” anything. You also add back red dog off rage to pitch off unicorn to set another trap.
You discard 2 and then you draw 1. So whatever combo pieces you might have in hand, better not be too important@@JojosASMR. Yes you add shivara back and discard again, but you do that during your opponents turn with the usual endboard anyways. Given the right matchups, Gryphon surely is powerful, but it's still quite a bit more ressource intense, than the usual boards.
The combo i use actually beats nib. Normal endboard is caesar + escape with sharvara in hand, yama and rage in grave (more interuptions than it looks), but if they nib at any point i end on gryphon
@@jensmeyer4542 well thanks to the D/D/D package, you have bigger options with the summons including tourguide, if it wasn't for that, i would still be a bozo that refused to play her

god dammmm that asmr money flexin allllllll the max rare
Didn't look like the Yamas were Century rares
Weird it’s almost like this play was broken as after telling Pak the play, his team won the 3v3 YCS doing this exact combo every game 🫣
Maybe you're better than Pak and Jesse 🤔

@@JojosASMR you can't pop gryphon with escape as it needs to target an unchained card. You have to use both traps for this

that gryphon combo seems really strong, definitely trying this at my next locals!
Hello good vidéo how do you play against shifter ?
The griffin combo really cool the only thing I'd say it use muckrakers insted of soul of rage so you have that interaction to
you can't use muckracker the turn it was summoned, my guy
@@jensmeyer4542 fair enough just got the card and haven't read it
Is hand trap unchained better?

U actually keep 3 cards in your hand since u draw with gryphon
jojo i hope yugioh help you past the trauma of the captain amrica lego shield
do you always do this combo every game?
Muck-RAY-ker 🤦♂️

@t2life793 both gryphon and unicorn discard and draw.
So hold imperm for muccracker got it
or if they don't muckraker, just use it on your turn vs wave
From 1-broke how broke do you feel lol
Honestly that’s so much stronger
You should go for this

If they ash your tour guide thats kind of it so id rather play pure
It’s literally the same as your guy + trap getting ashed lol

Tour guide sucks
Tour guide literally has more tops than pure.
tour guide ends on the whole board by itself. blue dog caesar and trap and a unchained body. u do have to use yama grave eff tho.
