- This is my updated #ps1collection for 2024. I went back and retooled my camera with better quality as well as improved audio in order for my videos to come out even better than my previous collection videos.

Also, the best way to replace those cases I found is to look for a really cheap game using the same case that's in good condition and just harvest it for the case. A good cheap game you don't care about
The thing I hate most about those greatest hits games is seeing that obnoxious green spine on my shelf along that sexy wall of black. But my first experience with them was when I saw the beautiful colored art of Legend of Dragoon being turned into black and white.
But damn, that's one beautiful collection. I'm jealous of about half of those!

I appreciate the comment!!! I wish I was able to get them black label but they are in mint condition so Im okay with them having the green label. :) There are a ton more games I need to get but for now I like the games I have so far.
Im starting to buy ps1 games for my ps3, and im glad i found this video because i just didn't know what games i should buy first and i a found a few in this video that i might get soon.
A fine collection. I'm from the UK and we had to import a lot of US games because they released there first or never released in the UK. I still have 14 of them, half mint (and I do mean as new) or very good condition (I am old enough to have being buying them on release). An odd fact Parasite Eve, didn't get a UK release (one of my USA games), but Parasite Eve 2 did, so you can pick up the 2nd game in the UK for 30-50% of the price of the US copy. The UK release of Final Fantasy Anthology has the games 4 & 5, not 5 & 6 like the USA. I do have both of these. We did finally get FF VI a bit later as a separate release.
hmmm Im a fan of collection multiple variants of the game. I knew FF8 Greatest Hits had a white and silver top (black bottom) but didn't know about the silver bottoms for FF9. I also didn't know it had a silver top/black bottom either. I only have the white top version. RIP wallet lol
The Playstation had some of the best games of all time, even 30 years later a lot of titles still hold up on the console
Never heard or played these games but great collection, missing some great games.
Looking forward to the ps4 games. My partner has been looking for ps4/5 JRPGs and I know that while you may not have the exact taste, you have a more comprehensive collection that I can look into and create a curated section of gifts or whatever. Gumpys? Kowloon High School Chronicles is an example
I do own Kowloon high school Chronicle but on switch. It is a solid game overall. Once I'm back from out of town I will make my PS4 collection video.
Is that tokyo xanadu under dragons café? And what's between Ys and... Killer is dead in the background? And what is that ratchet and clank big box on the right?
The Ratchet and Clank box is for All 4 One on PS3. It was just a promotion box and nothing is inside of it. The game that is between Xanadu EX+ and Dragons café is a game called Dunamis 15. It is a visual novel created by Images and it has replica headphones that the main character uses which is on the front of the box cover. Pretty cool box set.

Silver disc are re realease from square Enix the original squaresoft are black even the greatest hits from squaresoft are black
this is correct and up till not long ago you could purchase those silver version square enix games form the Square Enix website.

The problem I have with games that aren’t sealed is the fact you can swap cases for cleaner ones. I’d rather buy a sealed greatest hits then black label raw. Games that have new cases are like cars that have swapped engines, worthless.
Older cases get broken. Replacing them is not worthless. If they are damaged you replace them.
@@forest_gamingredux8156 when it comes to collecting, it destroys the value the moment you take it out the original case.
@@EatinGoodOsrs if you are looking at it for value than I'm sorry but that is not why I get games. Not for value but for my collection to play them. I do not see my games as value.

@@EatinGoodOsrs If you have watched my other videos I explain this for those who are into this sort of thing. I take into account prices of games as it helps those who maybe curious about. It is by no means how I see my collection at the end of the day. I try to help those out about prices for games incase anyone is looking to pick it up at the airing of the video. Not for value sake but to be transparent of how expensive or inexpensive the games could be.

Same here. The majority of my games are GH. I buy based on condition. I could care less about black vs green label.
