Splendid walk guys. The lift up was cool - a good choice I'd say. I enjoyed seeing the snow till om top - a sign there was a good winter at least. As for you contouring the mountain it looked as if your friend had to hug the side for a little assurance. It looked steep. Well, good going - and enjoyable conditions. Mark
Thanks Mark. Yeah Claire didn't like the sheer drops very much. I don't blame her. It's hard to visually portray how treacherous those cliff edges can be. But all in it was a lovely week away and walk. Ian
Nice video. I visited Garda in 2001 and think I went on the same trip up the mountain. I remember not being too keen on the cable car trip back down. Is it in two stages?
Thanks Alex. Yeah its 2 stages, I'm not sure what is at that middle stage. All I could see were a few houses and 1 restaurant. Lake garda is beautiful, and we will definitely be back.
Hi , loved the video -the route looked awesome and the views amazing, hoping the spend a day hiking on Monte Baldo when I am due to spend a week in Limone in September. What camera and editing software were you using? cheers Martin
Hi Martin. Yes, malcesine and limone are both such beautiful little towns. We had a lovely pizza and a few aperol spritz when we took the ferry to Limone for the day. I use a Nikon D3300 for photos and video, and I use Premiere Pro for video editing. Im not an expert, but its fun learning. Happy hiking - Claire and Ian

Do you remember the name of the trail you hiked?
HI! How long walk is from the cable car station to the 11:28?
Hi Jarkko. You mean, if you walk straight along the top from the cable car to the lookout? It's not far...maybe less than 1km..
