also, even if it's fake, no. Video games are NOT the cause of violence. The people that say they commit crimes because they play video games? They're just looking for a way to get the heat and blame off of them and onto something else.
While that's partially true, you got a bit of a flaw there buddy. The fact that this guy plays other violent (By definition) games, is probably why he would fight back his dad when he tried to grab the Xbox back. He's what you call an addict. What happens with most addict's lives? They take a swirl down the shitter. So because he tries to defend his Xbox, it physically makes him violent in the moment.
Jordan Fisher No. Just because you play violent games, that doesn't mean at all that they're the reason you yourself are violent. I've had anger issues long before I even played video games and a lot of the games I play are violent. And, honestly, I've gotten better control over my anger after playing violent games (Star Wars, Left 4 Dead, Last of Us, Dishonored, etc.)
Maybe it does have some influence on some people's actions, but ultimately, it's still the person to blame for not realizing that video games aren't reality.
And also, the kid in this video said that the dad came at him with a chainsaw as a prank first and so the kid did it to the dad back as a prank.

So, no, it's not the fact he plays games.

I'm majorly addicted to games. I love video games. Favorite hobby and I'm working to get partnered with Twitch, to make it my job.
