    awesome set up at camp, boy, that bass was a great catch and when you made that in the pan, butter and garlic and lemon juice, I was drooling. That was coming down heavy that 2nd night, definitely true about spending time outside, awesome adventure and solitude.

    This video of a solo winter camping trip in a Marmot Thor tent during a snowstorm is both exhilarating and awe-inspiring. The stunning views of the snow-covered mountains and trees, combined with the howling winds and falling snow, create a truly immersive experience that makes you feel like you are right there in the midst of the storm. The filmmaker's ability to capture the beauty and harshness of nature is truly impressive, and the video's minimalist approach with minimal commentary enhances the overall viewing experience.

    Very entertaining video! Loved the music when you were setting up the tent. SO great to have the camera set up at night and see the big cat and the next night the deer. Cant believe how much snow you got but you make the camping look easy. That bass looked like it turned out amazing its all about the spices. If we were to ever tent camp we would do it with you but we did it alot when we were younger not sure if we could make it now. This was a great video also love your opening!

The bass was excellent, now we are even for making each other hungry 🤣🤣🤣🤣 take care, be safe and talk soon.

    First time I see my tent in a video ! And first time I see a different way to set it up . Usually I insert all my poles and lift them one by one but your way seem much easier. I once had 12 inches of wet heavy snow on my tent by morning without any problems . Its a 6 poles tent ( with the vestibule ) , so can handle lots of snow and wind . Your not afraid to use a propane heater inside the tent ? Thanks for the video !

      Thank you so much for the comment I absolutely love this tent and it takes a beating no matter what you give it as far as the propane heater goes I have cross ventilation in the tent, the heater itself has an oxygen sensor on it and I also have a backup carbon monoxide detector I've been doing this for years and have had no issues you just have to make sure you have plenty of ventilation again thanks for watching. 👍👍👍😁😁😁😁😁

    Hi, not sure exactly where your camp was. But do you have bears in that area ? Nice to have a solid tent in that weather !

    • @northeastoutdooradventures3787
      @northeastoutdooradventures3787  Год назад

      Yeah my camp is located in Vermont and yes I have plenty of bear, I generally don't have issues with the bear I take lots of precautions to keep the food I have locked up tight so it don't end up attracting them into my camp site. I absolutely love my tent I just got back from another three-day tent out the tent is solid !!!!Thanks so much for watching, much appreciated 😄😄😄😄

    I generally quite enjoy your videos... I was a little surprised to see you hacking branches off that tree, though. Personally, I'm a believer in trying to adhere to Leave No Trace principles and that good campsites are found, not made 🤷‍♂ Interesting to see the visitors you had in camp at night and the deer the next day, and I liked that you were able to capture the sounds of the wind and snow. Certainly was a beautiful, peaceful environment after the snowfall, and I applaud you for the elevated backcountry cuisine 👍

    • @northeastoutdooradventures3787
      @northeastoutdooradventures3787  Год назад +2

      So the tree hacking is a tree that is coming down anyhow because it's crowding my oak tree. I will be building a shelter in this spot in the summer. If this was not my property I would not be doing that. The critters through my campsite is the norm around here, thanks again for watching

    how many degrees do you feel that tent heater adds to the warmth of the tent.

    • @northeastoutdooradventures3787
      @northeastoutdooradventures3787  Год назад +1

      Great question, the tent will hold a temp of 60 to 65 degrees when it is 20 degrees out. At 10 below 0 it will hold at 30 to 35 degrees inside. I did a ton of research on my own to find the sweet spot and when it's 10 degrees up to 20 outside is when it's most comfortable inside the tent. If you do go this route be sure to have the proper ventilation and carbon monoxide detector. We have been doing this for 5 years now with out any issues. Hope this helps.

    • @northeastoutdooradventures3787
      @northeastoutdooradventures3787  Год назад

      I have it hooked up to a 20lb cyclander outside my tent and over a 2 day period it hardly used any, if you use the 1lb. Cylanders they only last 6 hours, it's a pain to change them out in the cold that is why I went to the larger tank, and the 20lb tank can go for days, and no changing out at 3:00 in the morning 🤣🤣🤣🤣 on our channel I also go over making a little buddy stand that helped me out in a huge way and now all my friends have one, the whole set up works slick, hope this helps.
