He said Russia and US support was there for India. I disagree with his statement. They didn't support us. Initially, we were placing the satellites in the orbit using liquid and chemical fuels only. Though we we were successfully placing satellites in Earth's orbit, we were not able to take our satellite very far in the space. For 17 years we have struggled to manufacture our own cryogenic engine for our rockets. We finally asked the help of Russia to help us with the cryogenic technology.. US, which came to know about this blocked Russia from supplying cryogenic technology to India stating that any attempt by Russia to provide cryogenic technology or cryogenic engines to India will violate the guidelines of Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR) treaty signed by Russia. This block imposed by US in the name of MTCR forced India to manufacture its own cryogenic technology after a struggle of 17 long years.

They didn't support us all the time and crucial moments like you stated but definitely they did support us and I am talking about USSR in the intial years of our space programme and similarly USA for SUPARCO. Even for Chandrayan 3, NASA and ESA both gave us support. So you saying that they didn't support us based on just one or two such instances is also factually wrong.

@UshaShah-mu3le mam, let's be on facts. Neither of them have helped. Let me give you an example, india has long been looking for a liquid and dry type engines for aircrafts,space crafts and UAVs. No body provided the technology, finally India's first dry type engine though little underpowered are in production by Godrej Aerospace.
