Why does the tree do 73 damage wtf
I don't play villager, but pocket increases the damage of pocketed projectiles by 1.9x, and tree does 25% by itself, so take tree, pocket, plus the 1v1 multiplier, and you'll probably come out to 73.
I'm not 100% certain, but I also think tree is a momentum based projectile, so that may be another factor to take into account, on top of the other things I mentioned
