Great share as always buddy! Shocking driving there! Not supposed to overtake on solid white lines!! I hope you are having a great weekend!! Stay safe out there 🚗🚗
Hello mate well as you asked last weekend was a 385 mile route on the National Rally on Saturday I had planned a route for Sunday taking in the north coast but thick fog on the 50 mile return to our accommodation from loch ness really put me off and as I'd already done enough to claim a 3 nations award we had a long lie in, until lunchtime! All the best.
Like most rule breaking, if they get away with it every time it becomes normal. You've done your best by highlighting this driver and now it's up to others to do the right thing. Will the authorities be in touch ? Let's see
Hi Mate Wow!! that must be some one important , in a SUV with a private number plate so that means he's Highway Code exempt so double white lines means nothing to him and also her does not need to have a MOT, insurance or own the car, but when you see this sort of driver and have video evidence you must show this to the police so they can keep checks on this car and send him a lovely letter to tell him we have seen this and we will send him a lovely gift in the post, which will be nice for him. Stay safe mate catch you soon
They need to see body cam footage from plod, showing them the impact of doing this overtake, but not being lucky. Hearing the screams for help, see the unfortunate that have not made it.
Yes have seen some of those types of videos, they should show them in Schools to have an effect. Personally we heard from the only survivor of a car crash about a friend who died when he was 21 as a back seat passenger, the only survivor was the front seat passenger. Our friend asked to hold hands which they did until he died. It unfortunately is still happening as in the last couple of days a memorial video has been put up by a young acquaintance on YT of his 21 year old friend who died as a rear seat passenger in a head on collision on a country road. It seems the message is clear but for some they can not put the risk into a perspective that will end badly. Thank you for the comment Gary. All the best.
Hello there, over the years I have tried to send really shocking stuff to the Police and even following all the stupid rules, Manchester for instance insists on 4 minutes of pre-incident dash cam footage and six months not releasing it on social media, just for no action to be taken. So now I don't bother, especially when the Police have departments that pick up stuff from social media, including YT to prosecute for themselves. Thank you for the comment.
Hello there, although there is a lot in the media about them taking action it is very rare and now I've given up trying. Have sent footage to several different forces over the last six years or so, no action on any of them. Thank you for the comment.
It's a pity you cannot report drivers like that as he will continue these dangerous overtakes until he is either prosecuted or involved in an incident.
@isthatujeebus Cloudmaker has had problems in the past reporting drivers such as this one in his area. If it was in Lancashire, then I would have no hesitation in filing a report, and I'm sure they would have taken action.
I think your success in getting Police to take notice of some of this type of driver is down to the individual Police force. I've given up trying these days. Hope you're well and thank you for commenting.
You can and have in the past with Zero results and that's with 4 force areas over a period of about six years, and yes they all say they take action but in reality it just seems to be a publicity stunt. Thank you for your comment.
Yes would be good if you could post anonymously but after a close call last week with a car I got to read the small print on Derbyshire's Operation Snap. Did you know for instance that they supply the offender with the complainants name. Stuff that! That's one of the reasons I don't use my real name on here after videoing lorry drivers doing stupid stuff and getting various threats over the years. Pity too as the car was on Sorn with no test or insurance, they won't even look at it unless you agree to go to court. Have tried over the last six years sending in the worst ones to Manchester, Yorkshire West and South and mostly Derbyshire, the result absolutely nothing. I even videoed Derbyshire police passing a biker with no helmet on the A6, I was flashing my headlights at them to get them to notice. Some have had some success in other areas but I've now given up with them. However Derbyshire, as I assume other forces have, does have a section dedicated to prosecuting wrongdoing uploaded on social media or other platforms including You Tube, so hopefully they'll find it. Thank you for the comment.
I understand your reluctance now. I have always had good results from Essex Police, usually a fixed penalty notice issued. Depends on how much time or effort they want to put in.
0:38 your completely right that driver is 100% stupid in the head driving like that!
Great share as always buddy!

Nice dashcam capture! Stay safe there fella
Thanks, you too Tuga, can you tell I'm trying to play catch up with the comments! 👍😂
The sad thing is these people don't know what solid white lines mean!
I know and they should have learned that whilst learning to drive! Thank you for the comment.
I see your point late for work at local station 👍
🤣🤣🤣👍 Thank you for commenting Harvey.

Yes, well said. They get away with it, so no need to stop.
@@eastlancsdashcam Until the day they have run out of luck.

Hey Shaun late response, but just catching up! All the best mate.
No patience whatsoever hopefully there were not any children in the car at the time.
Suffice to say that the driver is not as reliable as his VW.
Yes indeed Graham.

What u expect if u driving 20mph in a 50mph
Not driving at that speed! But thank you for watching.
Go pass it to the police that way they can pay a visit & the driver can explain.

Report it to police

It is pretending to be a police thingy ❤
Come on, not all Police are that bad, are they!

Rather than post here, why not report it via your police forces online dashcam site - they've all got one.
