Saw the movie Thursday night with my dad.. AND OMG. I was so happy after that film. It is fantastic. I felt so attached to the characters, and Godzilla was scary!!! He made me feel nervous during the final battle. I hope there is a sequal!
Not just a great Godzilla movie. Its just a great movie. Walked into the early access fan showing and kid in a full Godzilla outfit. Great audience to see this with.

She was infected with the Godzilla virus. The virus rejuvenates the host. Like when Godzilla got hit with the cannons from the battleship. That’s the only reason she survived that blast. So, basically it’s not really an happy ending. She’s infected, which probably leads into the sequel.
Hollywood is not happy. IMDB has nothing about this movie, except box office results, on their page. They don't even have it listed in the "In theaters now" section. It's sad and telling.

And the train falls apart, and she falls into a pool of water. Thus she doesn’t get eaten, and survives
