I had her first album, a cassette, entitled simply “Madonna” and listened to it excessively when I was stationed in Germany. I know every song, inside and out. If you want to see where she started it all I’d suggest watching her first video ever recorded “Everybody”. I believe it was filmed in her friends bar in NYC. It’s not an exciting video nor did a lot of money go into it BUT it gives me chills to see her at such a young age and to know what kind of mark she will leave on this world. It’s nice s to see what she started with and how she turned herself into a international ICON!! FYI, did I mention that I came out while I was in Germany? I wonder who helped me out with THAT!!
