"Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, it features a narrative inspired by the long-running comic book mythology while also deriving from various adaptations in other media. It is the third entry in the Marvel's Spider-Man series, acting as a sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man (2018) and a follow-up to Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020). In this installment, Peter Parker and Miles Morales struggle to navigate the next steps in their personal lives while combating an assortment of villains, among them a private militia of mercenaries led by Kraven the Hunter, the sand-based criminal Sandman, the monstrous Lizard, and the extraterrestrial Venom symbiote, which bonds itself to Parker and negatively influences him, threatening to destroy his personal relationships.
Gameplay builds on the foundation established by its predecessors, with an emphasis on the multiple playstyles afforded by Peter Parker and Miles Morales as their respective Spider-Men. The game expands on their existing traversal and combat abilities, including new web-based gadgets and suits that can be unlocked through progressing the story, as well as introducing the former Spider-Man's symbiote suit, granting Parker completely unique abilities from his previous playable appearance. As with the prior games, content outside the main story route consists of completing side-missions and obtaining collectibles dispersed throughout the game's open world sandbox, with the player able to switch between Parker and Morales to complete dedicated objectives for each of them"

I’m so buying this game again when it inevitably comes to PC! Hopefully the modders will make a Batman mesh so I can web wing as the Dark Knight
I was scared that the color bariations would delute the quality of the rest of them but to be honest, the color differences made them very unique, even though they are the same. Liked it!

Honestly, the color variations were the best idea they coulda made, cuz they *_SAVE_* a lot of new suits I was on the fence with first glance *_(Secret Wars: Civil War, Miles 10th Anniversary, The Evolved Suit etc)_* while also making me like a lot of suits I didn't care for at all before *_(Advanced Suit 1.0, Anti-Ock, T.R.A.C.K., S.T.R.I.K.E. etc)_*
Fun Fact: the “Dark Ages Suit” is when both carnage and venom take over Miles. It’s Ana amazing suit
The white version of the mysterio suit reminded me of the white ranger from mighty morphin power rangers. Also the arachknight suit gave total Ezio vibes.
The King in Black Suit is actually the Symbiote God Null himself. The Dark Age suit is when Carnage took over Miles

Arachknight is from a comic where instead of destroying half the universe Gamora folds it in half on top of it self fusing characters together. Thus spiderman and moon knight were fused to create arachknight

I think the symbiote suits for Miles give him the enhanced web swinging Peter gets in his as well which is so dope, kinda wish the webs changed colors as well

When web swinging with the symbiote suit as Peter you gain a little swing assistance wether you have it on or off, you accelerate faster while swinging, and you can turn corners tighter. I noticed because when playing as black suit and switching to Miles I would constantly hit the floor as miles but never when I was Peter. I also learned for Miles the suits are just cosmetic no bonuses.

I love the white and gold variant for the smoke and mirrors suit it was definitely inspired by the white power ranger which is why that is my favorite suit for Miles

Secrete Wars, and Amazing 1 and 2 suits are my favorite. My favorite Miles one is the TRACK suit.

I am of the strong opinion The Evolved Suit is a great example where the color variations shine.
The default colors? Awful. The red hoodie looks pink, the blue lightning is too bright, blüd looks like a box of Colgate.

The basic evolved suit is so bad in my opinion. It’s literally and ad for adidas. If you like it good for you but I don’t.
arachknight is supposed to be moon knight and spider man combined
Been really enjoying the Spider-Man 2 content, Spidey is my fav comic character, but I feel the suits in this game are kind of a letdown from the amazing suits we got in the first game. Now if you don't mind I'm gonna go on a small rant about some of the suits and their comics counterparts so if you don't want to read you don't have to.
Okay the "King in Black" suit references a Marvel event where the God of the Symbiotes invaded Earth which led Eddie Brock aka the OG Venom lead the charge against him. I don't remember if Miles got a suit in that mini-series but I think that was originally Peter's.
Another one that was kind of neat to see was the "Anti-Venom" suit which funnily enough was never worn by Spider-Man, that suit was only worn by Eddie Brock. For a while in the comics, Eddie and the Symbiote were separated (Flash Thompson wore it as Agent Venom) and he was diagnosed with cancer. So for a while Eddie was trying to make amends and worked with Aunt May at F.E.A.S.T. If I remember correctly, F.E.A.S.T. was attacked and during the fight, Eddie's body created a new "symbiote" which healed him of his cancer and led him to become an anti-hero. The suit in-game looks kind of meh but I love the look of Anti-Venom in the comics.
Scarlet Spider suit looks perfect. It originally belonged to Ben Reilly who was a clone of Peter (clone storylines was the style at the time) and was a major story in the 90's. You can also tell this suit was designed in the 90's thanks to all of those GLORIOUS pouches. Seriously, during that era pouches where the shit just look at characters like Deadpool and Cable.
That "Superior Spider-Man" is such a letdown. The Superior Spider-Man run is one of my all-time favorite stories in the comics. It was a fun yet dark run of the comics that I highly recommend reading the original run. As for the suit in the game, it looks like they went with the later design from the series when I feel they should've gone with the original one which had bigger eyes and "clawed" fingers. It had a much sleeker look to it that the 2nd design lost.

Well said. Couldn’t have said it better myself tbh. From the very beginning, suits being a letdown compared to the first game - all the way to the superior suit being a let down b/c superior spider is also one of my favorite all time storylines in comics.

I’m seeing a lot about people not liking the Evolved suit for Miles but unpopular, I actually love it. Maybe it’s the hair over the mask? The colors are flashy but they work good together. I think my ultimate favorite of the new suits though have to be the Shadow Spider and the Arachknight Suits. God they are beautiful.
