do you know how long you can keep the key disassembled to not programing it again with the car? 1 min? 5 mins? Or it doesn't happend in this key?

i just did the replacement on a focus 2005 , i thought i had the battery handy , i didnt . so i opened it and then went and bought me the batterry , about 10 mins after i reassmbled and it worked fine.
