Solo stealth Rainbow Generator (Ever After) Quest SOD

- A quick edit for how I managed to solo stealth the Ever After quest in SoD in BRD. Expand the description for some very important notes about the quest and extra details on how I did it.
-- Things to be aware of --
1 - Only 2 people can enter the quest givers 'event area' at a time. What constitutes the event area, I have zero clue, but it at least includes the bridge Blizzard intended people to jump from because he despawns if more than 2 go on that.
2 - You do NOT need the dropped item from the dungeon to have him spawn in the instance. I haven't confirmed with certainty that he still offers the quest if you don't have it though, just that he is always present on new resets when taking this path.
3 - Certain events in his quest event area appear to cause him to despawn irrelevant of number of people present. One being dying in the quest event area.
The quest awards 3 items.
A trinket called Rainbow Generator that channels a rainbow on your target.
A shirt that causes you to point towards your target.
And 3 more Student Fodder.
- How I did it -
I stealthed, obviously. But I had full Feral Instinct points to ensure I made it past everything on the route shown in the video. There are other routes, like the arena skip, but then you have to contend with dogs that see through stealth, including through invis pots.
Anyway, there wasn't a lot to this besides being careful while stealthing. Being patient on the jump up after exiting the window, it can take a few tries. And before you actually jump, checking if the NPC is even spawned with /tar Rugged Traveler. If he's there, then drink that noggenfogger and slowfall away!

how did you stealth for so long? the invisibility only lasts a few secs w 10 min cd

Btw if you are druid/rogue (which you are if you can stealth/prowl) you don't even have to climb up the top of the gate, you can just jump out from the window with dash/sprint.
Also makes sure you bring A LOT Noggenfogger Elixirs. I brought 17 and had to drink 14 before finally I got the slow fall effect.

Good route, managed to do it with a warlock. Couple of tips -
Use the meta rune.
You can avoid the fireguard @ 0:45 by waiting for a bit. He'll circle back and be out of your way.
When at the top of stairs just send in your pet to aggro the first 3 groups. Once it has aggro just pop a swiftness potion and run. Voidwalker is especially great here as you can just sacrifice him when his health gets low increasing your chances of getting to the window. When you jump out the window your aggro will reset so no need to worry about that.
Also, be careful when jumping out the window. I accidentally slid into the lava on my first attempt.
You can use the new vengeance rune for slow fall (20 seconds is enough). Do be careful abut getting the angle right though - target the leftside corner of the rock or you'll most likely just barely miss it and fall into lava.
Honestly the hardest part is getting the key for the doors. The boss is high level and it's hard to get a solid hit on it, so most groups will just spam arena instead. Took me a whole evening just to get a group willing to go that far.

how did you stay invisible?
@@Volzotran I didnt use invisibilty. I opened the 3rd door (0:33) then silenced the pat flame mob and use swiftness potion (not invis) to run all the way to the window. I used combinations of frost nova and blink and spamming mana shield and fire ward to run away from the mobs. I did it with fire spec so very risky with no ice block and cold snap, but i managed to do it.
To add to their response, once you make it through the window, the mobs will stop attacking and evade. So you can just wait for combat to drop, then work your way to the top and do the jump with slow fall.
There's also a greater invis potion that lasts slightly longer. But neither invis pot type last the full distance unless you're doing the arena skip which is difficult to even get to at 50 without invis.
I did it with the Prototype Parachute Cloak instead of noggenfogger

Is this quest still in the game?
Yep, helped guildies do it in phase 4. Check the video description if the guy isn't there for you. There's certain things that will prevent him from spawning.
