I appreciate this very much. Got my first React position this past month. I was very confident in my ability to write decent code, until we switched to typescript for a large project that we have. It would be fair to say, that the majority of my code has been pretty crappy, since i am trying to get going, and i am still making some very solly mistakes.

Super video. Been programming since I was a kid at school in 1980 and find JS bizarre! Loads of tutorials about React but unless they're recent you can be learning something which is not used anymore. Thanks for this it has really helped.

It will be awesome to to see two fantastic in the beginning of my programming career I hated strongly typed languages, because if you have to divide to numbers an example 10/3 i would put int and don't care about floats it pissed me of when I started learning JS it was awesome I would put let x and don't care about types and then I had C# exam on college I used to have it because you have to think about the types, and since I was using more and more javascript on bigger projects I realized that I was getting pretty difficult for me to handle all scenarios especially undefined and more and then I started using more and more Typescript and I fell in love with it and I am using it in every project and net core is awesome. I have a massive project that I want to convert to typescript. Would I be able to do that component by component and still run it or would it immediately break if only some files are tsx vs jsx? I have a dev branch and master/prod branch so I could do everything on the dev until its complete and then push to production but I was just curious about the conversion process.

react fc and reactnode is only works after the reactapp converted to typescript?

Nope different things. React is a library/framework. TypeScript is a Typed superset of JavaScript
