Really enjoying the plant repair videos,I’ve never worked on anything like this before and the way you explain how it works and what you’re doing is great, you are a real natural at this presenting keep up the great work Baz.
This is turning into compulsory viewing … huge respect for you guys and what you do, incredible knowledge and skill across such a broad spectrum of machinery 💪🏻👏🏻
Hi Baz / Director and the lads, Awesome content as always, I got my 2 t-shirts today, fantastic high quality, and thx for the freebie stickers, one has gone on my toolbox and the other on my laptop. Thx Baz, Cant wait for the next installment and Announcement.
I'm local and always see loads of Hurt and Fox trucks out on the road. Every time I see them I cant help say to myself "WelderFabber" Your like the mascot!!! Keep up the good work Baz and the crew
They do the expanding foam truck on the jaw crusher next to my house too. Only thing they do different is they spray some wd-40 in on everything first so the foam has no chance of really really sticking to it. Makes it come out way easier. Granted. If it’s kinda dirty in there with a light covering of dust it has a hard time sticking anyways. But the foam tends to stick to the new parts pretty good. Nice work baz!! Love the videos!!
Good powerful machine Ive seen them in action to make road gravel. Parts are big and heavy metal to stand the pressure of the rocks being crushed, nice shop area for the repairs. Cheers
Baz and director cracking footage I have not stopped learning new tips on doing some of the jobs this I will apply into some of my work every day is a school day keep the great work can't wait for more cheers
I use 2 small shackles and a wire rope to install the jaws , works perfect and I don’t have to weld anything ! Just the way I do it, love the videos , keep ‘‘em coming. I work on the terex Finlay crushers. Looks like it’s a little bit different than the power screen type.
I'm learning something new all the time, Baz you'd make a good teacher i grew up about 20 mins away from you miss the north great video as always thank you for sharing your time and the lads time .
Excellent video, there’s only a couple of channels I watch on RUclips. People who have learned a trade and grafted hard to get where they are today, been subscribed to you for a month or so really enjoy your videos. Keep them coming ❤
Hi m8 I just watch yourself and workers take that bucket apart and and though yourself and lads put it back together again out of this world 🌎 100/100 fantastic bit of work
your a man of important anything you touch turned to Gold you injoy your work anything need done you are there 100% no messing done right away you have my vote anytime m8 God bless take care Paul 🍀🍀🍀
I am on the wrong side of the pond .. I have rocks as big as a auto engine in my field and woods .. I have to buy stone for my driveway .. guess I need to get busy with a big hammer LOL. Another Great Video ..please keep them coming ,,
Top job Baz, Crew & Director, well explained. Baz/Director, have a look at when the cheek plate was bolted in from the outside, around 25 mins, looked like a crack starting , maybe superficial, could be nothing, in 2 places, noticed rusty water mark on the main grey chassis, cheers.👍
Another good blog,I have never liked that system of holding the jaw in much prefer the wedges that push the jaw down, you could of swap out the top cheek plates while you had it down that far😉keep those great videos coming.
Another great vid 👍👍. Really interesting to see the working parts of a machine and how you a the lads work together to get the job done. 👍. Top lads, top job.
Cracking insight of what you do we need a bit more of the director if you meet the struggler be gentle he is class don't worry about the Baxenden boys james does a bit of boxing lol great team keep going
I think you should get the professional struggler in Baz and teach him how to weld. He could do with the knowledge no more popcorn welds lol. I can’t believe you told a bloke fresh from his wedding he’s made a big mistake that’s funny hahaha. I do agree with you though it’s foolish these days :)
Yeah, I always liked the Mccloskey Jaw set up better with the brackets and holes in the middle. That Crusher Chamber has seen some use might have been an idea to change both upper Cheek Plates as well. Next job will be the Jaw-stock Bearings, you just can’t win with Plant. See you on the next one.
I'd imagine when you get that deep you just replace everything wearable like you did. No point paying the labour bill again in a year for something else. Top content as always boys 💪👊
Electrician is my main trade I’m qualified in and do some mechanical and engineering work, I used to do basic plant repairs years ago for my old boss and generator repairs that he had on the firm, In me spare time I’m a motorsport mechanic we compete doing drifting all over Europe, love your videos baz learning new things all the time keep it up mate awesome 👌🏼👍🏼👊🏼
Love this channel.. I enjoy seeing everything you do, different plant and trucks everyday.. can I recommend something, put the mic a little closer to your month as on a couple of episodes it’s really quiet 😅 keeping up the cracking work Baz and team… don’t forget the merch I need a helly jacket 👊🏻😊
Baz another fab episode what did you do with the matirial left on top crusher what you said should not be going in it and did someone get a bollocking lol
Another great video, nice to meet the machine operators also. Maybe they could give some stats on the machines they use such as speed weight it can shift bit like top trumps, plus a bit of schooling and learning for the non construction workers like me who watch each episode since I saw your work with the Asheville bucket rebuild
Hi Baz ans Team. INCREDIBLE EPISODE. WELL DONE. I wouldn;t be surprised if National TV created a new series and weekly episodes It;s a WINNER! any new/replacement plant/tll knowledge!ippers do you go on a manufacturers traing familiarisation course?? you are the font of all knowledge!!!
within a 15 miles radius of the terex factory in Dungannon you have 75% of all screeners and crushers made world wide , you should get yourself on an welders holiday and do a few factory tours.
That’s a hefty repair bill headimg some poor owner operators way no doubt. Those premiums are gonna sky rocket next year no danger. Looking at the top section of the roof that doesn’t look like an easy fix either Baz . Good luck 🤞🏽
Great chanel Baz is the director the stig from top gear as he seems to be anonymous 😅, when welding on the machines do you leave engine running or disconnect the batteries ? Thanks keep up the great work 👍
Let me know when you're working in Leyland on a Sunday... I'll bring you some bacon sausage and egg butties.....Great videos loving the heavy fab and mechanical work...
Great work again Baz, Chris the professional struggler didn't listen to the Director because he's still swearing like a trooper on camera. As always Crack on lad to the next one.
Another good job. 👍 Suppose the burning question is, who was supposed to be checking the jaws ? 😀 (didn’t wear like that in one shift ) Keep the good content coming
MR Forrester is camera shy by the looks of things baz 🤣 when we going to see more of your right hand man cal? Soon to be second in command? What do you think baz 🤣🤣
@@welderfabber you should be taking a back seat with the team you have working with you or have you got the never can stop attitude to work? And do you cover all the fox group work or is there other people within the fox group? I.e mechanic’s/welders/fabs aswell
Great content Baz and the team. Silly question time, when working on equipment big and small why dont you use lock out tag out locks? Cheers keep it up
Baz, its none of my business, but just wondering because of the freedom that you have to move and film and have The Director do the filming... do you have your own company withing the Fox Group where you do this maintenance from? Brilliant work on the crusher, good common sense "get the job done" but be safe in the process.
I like your vidoes a lot would like to get hat I writing to you before iam going back to get welding degree iam in my 50s worked on heavy equipment for 10 years but want to do repair welding on heavy equipment for my self if I can afford to do it iam hoping. Keep up grate videos.
Great to see real men doing real work. Another hard grafter you might want to check out is Copperhead Marine. He runs a lot of older earth moving gear and fixes it all himself too. Loved the sheared bolt episode and your explanations about how some damage occurs. You'd be welcome in NZ with such great attitude and work ethic.
What strikes me about all these videos is how much all these machines keep breaking down and require repair all the time. Not sure if not being maintained correctly or just plain bad luck
@@davidfenwick5060 Totally get that. Just think these guys spend fortunes on these machines and they need constant attention. Not sure if they fall out of warranty as they seem to do all the work themselves rather than calling out the Manufacturer. Terex for example ,is a massive US Corp surely they have their own maintenance teams on the ground. Maybe Baz can explain why they do everything in house
We have a lot but after a few years a lot of parts need replacing a lot at the same time it may look like they breakdown a lot but its just cause there are so many.

The same way most people stay motivated 💰
I was brought up right
Could you put lifting eye bolts in the top of the jaw and lower it in?
Top front
Is this fault linked to what you could hear last week when you changed the toggle plate and it still sounded off?
