Really appreciate this video in that it: 1) helps one to understand the balancing of the jack height and repetition lever components adjustment process 2) presents a "Circle of Refinement" that demonstrates how to "feel" the movement of the overall adjustment and by doing so, makes it possible to have a better defined and more precise regulation. I am a noobie at regulation although I am not a noobie in years. I've spent about 12 or 13 years watching videos like this one. These videos by Chernobieff Piano are the most interessting, understandable and informative. One cannot help but respect the many years of experience behind Chris's video presentation(s) and that he offers to share his breadth of knowledge in what can be considered as a gift. Cool....
Such tedious work...meticulous attention to detail...yes, folks, see everyone's comments below...Chernobieff Piano is truly a Master Craftsmanship Operation. Consider yourself lucky if you avail yourself of their restoration services! Also- he's giving away free technical advice with the RUclips videos...take advantage... you will find a new appreciation for how complex and sophisticated a piano is, and how much work must be required to reach this level of expertise...
I use Molybdenum Disulfide for wood friction improvement. I moved away from Mclube, then used their top of the line product sailcoat. The Moly seems superior IMO.
