Roma's voice is just gorgeous. Her tone is so calm and soothing and her accent is lovely; I could listen to her all day. It's sweet to hear her talk about her friend and co-star. Della seemed like a truly kind, open-hearted person, and when you're that genuine of a soul, it moves everybody, no matter what name(s) by which they call the divine. Rest in peace, Della, and Roma, keep shining with what you do. Blessed be. )O(
i used to watch this show with my family a kid it seemed like the only show that we actually watched without interuption. need more shows like this now days.
I've started re-watching "Touched By An Angel". It never failed to make the point of love. Miss Downey, thank you for this inspiring post. Della Reese and John Dye are sorely missed. Well done Angel Lady
I miss the TV show Touched By An Angel and watched it all the time and my wife and I are binge watching it right now. My favorite character is Andrew the Angel of death. John Dye and Della Reese, RIP!
Awwww Roma, she’s in Heaven, from what I know about Della Reese she WAS a born-again Christian (Jesus says “The ONLY way to the Father is BUT THROUGH ME”) as a result of that the MOMENT she died one of His Angels (I feel kinda funny saying that even though I am a Christian lol) would have lovingly taken her to the Lord Jesus where she will be for all eternity! Although sometimes we FEEL as though people are with us, happily, in Della’s case, she is gone, BUT gone to a FAR better place, praise the Lord! By the way - LOVED the show TBAA - the ONLY criticism I can offer - is that Biblically we are taught the ONLY way to Heaven is to repent of our sins and to ask Jesus Christ into our lives for forgiveness and to believe that He died on the cross for us
Yes yes yes. I sooooo agree. This message was never discussed in TBAA regarding the death, burial, & resurrection of Jesus Christ... by which we are saved upon the profession of our faith in Him & repentance of our sins! I can say though, I loved the show TBAA! 😊
Gathering the Harvest Outreach Ministries I still watch the re-runs now lol. The thing is - the message that GOD loves you is/or can be I hope be enough to put someone on the track to FIND Jesus if that makes sense?

Such an odd thing that she would talk about Della all the time but never about John Dye. I heard he was a wonderful person himself and just odd that no one like her talks about him openly. I mean it was a main cast of three people most of the time and theres only 1/3 left around to speak about them.

They did talk about it, especially Ms. Reese herself. But Roma and Reese were especially close, much closer than with John. Reese was a mother figure to both.

I wonder if Roma Downey believes in Our Lord Christ Jesus because she talks about angels more than Our Lord Christ it even it is written that we are only to follow Christ Jesus and not the angels because the angels are under Christ Jesus and they answer to Him. I hope that she understands that quickly because we are to follow Jesus and Our Father and the Holy Spirit. We are not to follow mankind, not even Paul or Matthew or Peter. The angels are sent by God but we are to follow Christ Jesus and I am not hearing Roma say that. I read in another article about Roma that she follows the saints and Christ is the one she should be walking with. I really hope that she gets this really very soon so that she does not go the wrong way. It says it all throughout the Holy Word who the Messiah is. I like Roma Downey and that is why I pray right now that she grows towards Christ and has a deeper personal relationship with Him and not the saints. Even Father God says that we are to follow His Son and not the angels. We are not to place the angels above Christ Jesus and the Bible does speak about angels and which certain angels did do but the Bible is not about the angels or the saints it is about the coming of Our Lord Christ Jesus. Many people get this mixed up for some reason when the Holy Bible is very clear about many things that we are suppose to do and whom we are to Love.

I agree. I'm fortunate to know someone who met all of them in person. My friend told me Della was lovely but John was a total sweetheart.
