I was needing a pick me up and I got channeled to Della Reese. While I was/am a fan, she wasn't the first person to cross my mind. While the heart knows what ot wants, the spirit knows what it needs. I needed some Della and the Holy Spirit which she was blessed in having.
Love is so tangible. You can feel it through the screen. The way they are looking at her brings tears to your eyes. You can sense their care and compassion for her. And Love knows no color! I come back to this video often because it literally embraces me with love and care. Della Reese is missed!
I absolutely love that Roma and Della were blessed with finding each other, and I love the relationship they had. My deceased mother and I were extremely close and she was an amazing woman, so I'm thankful for my blessing, too. 💕 Della said in an interview that the Lord knew that Roma needed a mother and that Della would need another daughter. Though a sad situation, I also love the story of how Roma took care of Della when her daughter passed away. Roma was in her trailer on the set when someone told her that Della needed her right away. Roma said she was in her white angel costume and barefoot, and took off running to Della's trailer where she found her crying and repeating that her daughter was gone. Roma wanted to get her back home to her husband, Franklin, immediately. She said she was still in costume and barefoot, but yelled from the car for someone to bring her shoes and purse to the airport. She said she had to take care of her mom, and if she had to go barefoot, so be it. She flew with her to her home. I saw an interview with a short clip of Roma's daughter calling Della "grandma", and she was also her godmother. So precious. ♥️

This is so lovely. I miss Della Reese so much. I would encourage all to get her book also I think is called Touched by an Angel. It's a very good book. The media should have told us about it after she died but they wouldn't in this stupid politically correct society. It talks about her childhood, her praying mother, singing with Mahalia Jackson and more.
